when i think about it
you kind of remind
me of peter pan.
not just because he was
my favorite
and you were too,
but because of your
spirit; the energy you held,
the way your actions spoke.
you were never serious,
always running around
(but i think that was partially
because of the energy drinks
you chugged),
having a ball, a good ol time.
you were always childlike,
and during middle
school we were starting
to grow.
were you too wanting to
be forever a child,
fearing what it would
be like to grow up.
