When tea came home, he couldn't wait to tell his mother everything.

"Mom! I'm home!" He called as he pushed off his shoes and entered. It was dark, he switched on the light.

"Mom?"

But there was no answer. The living room was also dark and so was her bedroom. Slowly closing the door, he walked into the living room again.

The sky was dark outside, only a stripe of hot red like lava creeped over the horizon. The light breeze made the tall grass sway from side to side.

"Mom?!" He called once more.

It was too quiet.

The next time he yelled "MOM?!"

When there still wasn't an answer he felt panic run threw his body like lightning.

He rushed threw all the rooms once more, turning on all the lights. Pushing open the glass door in the living room and ran outside. Feeling the cold night to his skin, he screamed out over the beach.

"MOM!!!"

Feeling numb and hopeless, he kept screaming.
His body was aching painfully. He didn't notice, until her arms were around him.

"I'm here TaeTae... I'm here." She whispered kindly into his hair, as he sunk into her embrace.

Tears rolling down his cheeks by his mother's warmth

"I thought you had left me too.."  his voice broke.

She shook her head. "I will never leave you, is that clear?"

He nodded and hugged her back.

After exchanging whispered apologies, his mother loosened her embrace and looked at him, Smiling affectionately. He brushed away his tears, still a bit shaky after the shock.
He smiled truthfully back, thankful his mother was okay.

She took his hand in her's and intertwining their fingers.

"Come with me" she said, dragging him after her.

They walked threw the grass, until they reached the side of the house. There was a small cabin in the shadows, more along the lines of a shed. It had three small windows that glowed against the night.

"This is where I've been" she told him as she opened the door. smiling secretly. He hesitated before walking inside. His jaw dropping automatically.

He didn't think this day could get any more eventful. He was wrong.

Every single wall inside the shed were covered in paintings, in all sizes and colors. It was a beautiful chaos. In the middle was a chair and a small table with wheels covered in paint. Opposite of this was an easel with a large painting. Teahyung walked inside and looked at it.

It wasn't done yet but there was a clar beach painet as the background and something that looked like a face, looking downwards. One of the corners were yet to be filled in.

He never knew his mother liked painting, but it did make sense, she'd always been creative.

They went inside and his mother made some hot chocolate and tucked him into a quills. He told her about his day, which definitely made her happy.

"I hope I can meet them some time." She said and ruffled his hair, before saying good night and going to bed.

Taehyung nodded, "that would be nice."
