Chan slept well through the night. He didn't dream of anything that he could remember in the morning. Throughout Saturday, the members relaxed and watched movies in the dorm. Chan sat on the edge of the sofa next to Hansol. He forced himself not to look at Soonyoung and, every time their kiss from the previous night crossed his mind, he shook the thoughts away and focused on the movie.
Being so caught up in movie-watching, nobody ate the entire day, until around dinner time. Wonwoo was the one to speak up.
"Guys, is anyone else hungry?" He asked after his stomach growled rather loudly.
"I'm starving," said Jisoo, "we should make dinner..."
All eyes turned to Mingyu the moment cooking was mentioned. Mingyu groaned and slumped in his seat.
"Guyssss I'm way too tired to cook...someone else do it."
A couple of the members laughed at this. "But hyung you're, like, the only one who actually knows how to cook," Seungkwan whined. Suddenly, Junhui jumped up off the sofa, looking ecstatic.
"Hey I have an idea! Nobody has to cook - I know a really good Chinese restaurant we can go to!" He said excitedly.
"Ooh, hyung, is it the one you took me to last week....?" Minghao trailed off at the end of his sentence, realizing he had revealed that him and Junhui went out to eat together.
Everyone's eyes were on Minghao and Junhui as the older of the two boys mumbled, "Yeah, it's the same one..." Luckily, everyone was too tired to question them.
"That's a good idea," said Sungcheol, breaking the awkward silence. "Everyone head to the van! We're going for Chinese!" Sungcheol rushed towards the door.
"I call shotgun!" Jeonghan shouted, only to be pushed out of the way by Jun.
"You don't know the way, hyung, looks like you'll have to go one car ride without sitting in the front," Junhui giggled as he jumped in the front of the van.
Chan liked the idea of going out to eat. Not only did he love Chinese food but, hopefully, eating dinner with all his friends would take his mind off of his kiss with Soonyoung.

The thirteen boys took their seats at the giant table that consisted of four smaller tables pushed together, and, suddenly, Chan wasn't so excited about eating out any more. He had pushed, and shoved, and crammed his way to the very edge of the table, and quickly motioned for Hansol to sit next to him. Yet, somehow, Soonyoung still ended up being the only person next to him.
Chan struggled to avoid eye contact with Soonyoung and engage in conversation with the rest of the members. He was actually doing a pretty good job at lightening up and socializing with his friends. That is, until Soonyoung noticeably shifted closer to him while laughing at Seokmin's joke. Chan didn't even have time to catch the joke but the whole table was roaring with laughter. Soonyoung clapped his hands at the joke then returned them to their spot under the table or, more specifically, on Chan's thigh.
At first Chan thought it was an accident. A slip of the hand. But it became clear that it wasn't when Soonyoung kept his hand in it's place on the younger boy's lower thigh. Chan squirmed slightly and tried to shift away from Soonyoung, hoping he would notice and move his hand. But shifting away only seemingly made it worse. Soonyoung slid his hand further up Chan's thigh. It took all of Chan's energy to keep his breathing under control and act natural.
Soonyoung kept his hand still for the next few minutes and Chan almost thought he had forgotten where his hand was until he began to rub absentminded circles into Chan's thigh with his thumb. Chan bit down on his bottom lip and made another meek attempt at scooting away from Soonyoung. But, as before, Soonyoung only moved his hand further up. His fingers seemed to have a mind of their own, considering he was engaged in a bubbly conversation with the other members and seemed completely unfazed by what was happening under the table.
Soonyoung's fingers had moved to Chan's inner thigh and they were tracing lines over his thin sweatpants. Chan reached for his water on the table and tried to ignore Soonyoung. Just as he was taking a sip, Soonyoung suddenly trailed his fingers up further, resting his hand over Chan's crotch. Chan spit his water back into the cup, dropping it roughly onto the table, nearly causing it to spill. He quickly stood up from his seat and mumbled about having to use the bathroom. He was well aware of the scene he had just made and he could feel everyone's gazes burning into his back as he hurriedly wove his way through the crowded restaurant to the bathroom, but he could care less at this point.
*Back at the table*
Eleven of the members stared after the younger boy, looking worried. Soonyoung, the twelfth member, stared as well, but more in amusement than concern. The boys' eyes drifted to Soonyoung who was sitting next to Chan.
"What just happened?" asked Jeonghan.
"He probably just had to use the bathroom," said Hansol, having a pretty good sense towards what actually happened and wanting to cover for his best friend.
"Then why did he spit out his water and slam his glass on the table?" asked Seungkwan.
"He jumped up really quickly, too," Wonwoo added.
"Maybe he had to pee really badly," Hansol shrugged, trying to calm everyone down.
"But it's not just this time," Mingyu pointed out. "Chan has been acting really weird for the past week...has anyone else noticed this?" Most of the members nodded in agreement. Finally, Soonyoung spoke up.
"You're probably just over-thinking things. But, if you're all so worried, I'll go check on him." Soonyoung stood up calmly and walked towards the bathroom, trying to hide his smirk.
