It had been two full weeks since that early morning. The most amazing morning of Chan's life. Two weeks since later that morning when Chan had confronted Soonyoung after breakfast. The morning when Chan asked Soonyoung what would happen between them after their confessions earlier that morning, and Soonyoung told him he didn't know. He didn't know what they were or what they would become.
It had been two full weeks, and Soonyoung still didn't seem to know. But, being completely honest, Chan didn't mind. It wasn't like Soonyoung wanted space until he could figure things out; they talked just as much as they used to. They didn't just talk, either, but the other members (with the exception of Hansol) certainly couldn't find that out. They acted like best friends and the members assumed they had a brotherly relationship. Funny - their relationship was basically the complete opposite.
It was almost as if they were dating...except they wouldn't admit it to anyone - even to each other, or themselves for that matter - if their lives depended on it. Their unspoken solution was working fine for the most part. But, of course, you can't keep a secret without there being risks; secrets and risks come in a package. One morning, they decided to take a particularly bold risk.
Normally, over the past two weeks, they had only hung out one-on-one when they were positive no other members were around. But apparently today was different, because Soonyoung called a performance team dance practice to session a half hour before their scheduled training started. Well, the performance team, minus Junhui and Minghao. Meaning he called Chan to the dance studio a half hour early.
Chan was slightly confused when he first entered the studio. It was empty. He looked around, scanning the room for the other members of the performance team, and right as he was about to call out for them, someone wrapped their arms around him from behind, causing Chan to jump and shout in surprise.
"Calm down it's just me," Soonyoung laughed.
Chan huffed and rolled his eyes. "Hyung don't do that! You scared me."
"I'm sorry Channie, I won't do it again," Soonyoung giggled and rested his chin on Chan's shoulder from behind, keeping his arms around him.
"Where are Junhui and Minghao?"
"I didn't invite them to come early."
"Why not?"
"Because I missed you," Soonyoung mumbled against the younger boy's neck.
"But you see me every day," Chan pointed out, blushing.
"But the other members are around."
"So?"
"So...If the other members around, I can't do things like this," Soonyoung turned Chan around and kissed him passionately. Chan was slightly surprised but he quickly adjusted and kissed him back, smiling against his lips.
"Well, I missed you too," Chan whispered.
Soonyoung sat on the ground with his back against the mirror and pulled Chan into his lap, reconnecting their lips. "I missed you more."
Chan shook his head as he wrapped his arms around Soonyoung's neck and kissed him back. "I doubt that."
"Well don't doubt it, because it's true," Soonyoung smirked as he rested his hands loosely around the younger boy's waist.
