Chapter 15

Amara's P. O. V

"So as you all can see I've come back but not alone I've come back with none other than the Demon Wolf's apprentice or rather ex-apprentice who is also my mate. " I smiled as I thought of the plan I had placed out in my mind of how we were going to attack tonight as I watched each assassin nod in acknowledgement towards Ryker for taking sides with us.

"Tonight we will be attacking the castle and taking it down, it's gonna be ours for the taking.   This is how we are formally gonna make this take down successful. I want 50 of you with Ryker and I as we attack from underground and the rest of you will be with Adrian and attack from the top." I gestured towards Adrian as I explained.

"Are there any questions? " I ask looking around the room only to be satisfied with the quiet atmosphere indicating that no questions were going to be asked.

"Good now I want the 50 of you to move to my end whereas the rest of you I want your attention towards Adrian as he explains the plan to you. " As quickly as these words left my mouth, my assassins moved out to there designated areas. I looked at the 50 assassins in front of me and started explaining the plan to them. It took about thirty minutes but by the time I was done they looked as if they were ready to draw blood. They knew that they were going to go against their brothers,  brothers they ate with,  slept with and trained with but they never questioned me and that was what I was proud of with my assassins.

As soon as I finished with my explanation I turned my attention towards Adrian who had just finished and nodded to me as a sign of him finishing up as well.

"OK!  So we've explained to you all the plan and what's going to go down tonight, I want this plan to run smoothly so be careful and execute this swiftly and quietly. IF any of you mess up the plan I will deal with you personally. " I spoke sternly catching everyones undivided attention,  also emphasizing on the IF of my second statement.

"Understood? " I asked looking around as all the assassins shouted out YES!  In unison.

"Good, we move now! " I said as I walked out of the meeting area with Ryker by my side,  I walked straight to the door leading to the underground tunnel which was connected from the house we were in to the castle. Adrian had left to go and attack on land with the rest of the assassins whereas I was waiting for all 50 assassins to be ready. Once I saw that everyone was ready I opened the huge door and lead the way into the tunnel as I was the only one who had knowledge on how to get to the castle,  mainly because I've read about it in an ancient book about the origins of the Demons Wolf assassins.  These  underground tunnels were tricky as it was set out like a maze,  different turns into different destinations that were mostly not pleasant, most people that came here never came out alive or at least if they did they would lose their sanity due to the amount of days,  months,  and years of living down here trying to escape.

"Everyone stay close, remember if you get lost here it will not be easy to get out. " I spoke with a warning in my voice.

I walked with Ryker quietly and swiftly leading our group through the dark and smelly tunnels,  if it wasn't for our werewolf eye sight which is ten times stronger than the human eye we wouldn't be able to walk in the dark so thank you Moon Goddess for that.

Upon reaching the end of our path there were five different door ways, with the wrong choice we'd be dead by the end of the walk. I inspected each door carefully while the assassins murmured which might be from confusion and worry of going into the wrong door leading us to our grave sites.

"Amara?  Do you know which way leads to the castle? " Ryker taps me on the shoulder looking as confused as the other assassins.

"Yes I do" I answered back to quickly than I was supposed to.

Still standing staring at the different doorways I looked at the top of the wall.

"There's supposed to be a sign, look for something like the demon wolf symbol " I told Ryker as I moved closer to inspect the door ways properly looking for the symbol.

As I moved my hand on the wall of the doorway to my right I found a symbol.

"Ryker just rub this spot on the doorway that's in front of you, Michael, Eli and Jake I want you all to do the same. " I spoke quickly wanting to test my theory out and to my surprise I was right on each doorway there was a symbol just placed on the wall able be the doorway.

On the doorway I was standing in front of had a symbol of what looked to be an infinity sign a simple one,  I than moved to Michael and looked at the symbol he found it looked quiet familiar it had a tree with short branches and was leaf less. Next I moved to Eli and saw the symbol he had found it looked like half the moon shaped like a banana with a star in the middle,  I then moved to Jake and looked at the symbol he found.  It looked like a wolf facing me howling but this wolf looked half human half beast more of a lycan if that's what it was. And lastly I moved to Ryker and looked up to the symbol he found which was actually the symbol I was looking for. It was a triangle in the middle and at the three side there was like a swirl something like a number six. This was a famous symbol and this was our symbol,  the Demon Wolf symbol. When the Demon Wolf takes the Demon Wolf throne the symbol automatically imbeds itself into that Wolf, It symbolizes the Demon Wolf and gives strength and youth.

"This is the one" I say simply and I enter the doorway before continuing the walk to the castle. After about fifteen minutes we reach our destination which is a staircase leading up to a closed wall.  I walk up onto it and push it but it didn't budge so I punched it which was hopeless only earning me a bruised fist, I looked around looking for signs and there it was right under my nose ,  the  Demon wolf Symbol on the left hand side of the wall and just above the sign there was like a small hole connected to that sign. Looking at it I looked confused until I remembered something that I read from the ancient books.

'Demon Wolf Blood is the only Key'

That's when it clicked,  I needed to use my blood,  I pulled my knife out of my boots and ran the sharp blade along the palm of my hand drawing blood. Without wincing I placed my hand above the hole connected to the Symbol and squeezed my hand resulting in blood dripping down into the hole, with this the blood ran along the lines on the symbol connecting it. With enough blood the wall opened up giving us a glimpse of where we were at the basement of the castle.  I pulled my hand away from the wall and just in time Ryker pulled my hand and wrapped a piece of cloth on it which was from his shirt looking at the torn material he was wearing. I looked up at him and smiled.

"Let's get our throne! " I turned to Ryker and gave his hand a tight squeeze.
