Just my Childhood Friend . . .?

Koneko Collapsed

Ren's POV:
Ren and the other guys were on the way to the Dance Studio, as they opened the Door Everyone greeted her happily. Ren felt anger rise inside him every time he saw everyone so happily together, he looked over to Koneko and saw her waver as she was about to stand up. Everyone run up to her but he couldn't overcome his proud and go to her so he stood next to the Door and watched the Situation, Syo and Natsuki were beside her and supporting her. He clenched his fist as he saw that, he wasn't sure why but he hated it to see them together.

* She would only push me away anyway, after all what happened*

As he watched the Situation he started to worry about Koneko, but that only confused him even more. Koneko said that she was fine and that she wanted to start the Training, everyone began to follow her steps but Ren watched Koneko closely

*something Isn't right with her today, her eyes seemed distance.*

After the Dance she just stood there and was breathing heavily, her eyes seemed to be empty and she looked kind of pale. Suddenly Koneko closed her eyes and was about to fall, without thinking Ren run up to her and catched her just in time. He lifted her into his arms and looked at the others, everyone looked shocked. He Carried Koneko into her Room and placed her into her bed, Syo, Natsuki and Masato followed him and Otoya, Cecil and Tokiya searched for Nanami and called an Doctor.  Ren set on her bed and covered her with her blanked, everyone looked at him in a mix of worry and amused; but no one said a word. After a short while the others came back with the Doctor, he looked at Koneko and examined her.  Meanwhile Ren stood a few feet away from everyone, leaning with his Back against a Wall and crossed his Arms; but he never let Koneko out of his sign. The Doctor asked what happened with her before she collapsed and Nanami began to tell him everything that happened, as Ren heared her talk about the things that happened between Koneko and Ren; he started to get a bad conscience and thought about it again.

*why did it have to come this far? I don't even know myself why I treated her so badly. I was glad to see her again, but I couldn't help but also feel angry. After what happened in the past I was to proud to admit that I missed her, I was so hurt as she left me ten years ago and I hide my anger inside me as I saw her again I couldn't help myself but to let it all out on her. This whole situation is so confusing that it's almost annoying, I don't even know what I feel anymore and I don't know what to do. The only thing I know at this moment is, that I want her to get better and I hope that she is alright*

The Doctor explained that she Collapsed under the great among of Stress, he said that they should let her sleep until she wakes up on her own but even he didn't know when she will wake up again. The Doctor said that if everything went well she would be as goid as new, but if it went bad it gave a chance that she wasn't able to dance anymore. Everyone was shocked and looked at her sleeping, no one wanted to believe that the worst could happen. As the Doctor left everyone stood next to her bed and looked at Ren with anger written all over their faces

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

No one said a word and left Koneko's Room. Only Nanami stoped next to Ren and looked at him with a soft smile

"Please take good care of her, and if anything happened let me know"

Ren's eyes widen as he heared that, but he nod and now even Nanami left the Room and he was alone with Koneko. Ren walked to Koneko's bed and set on the edge of the bed, he stroked her hair and he couldn't hold back a small worried smile.

"I told you to not lose your balance, my little kitten"

He said in a low soft Voice, As Ren saw her laying in her bed he was very worried about her and what the Doctor said.

* I feel so bad for what happened to her, at the end it was all my fault that she ended up like that. I'm so sorry Koneko, I hope, at some point; you can forgive me for all that*

He apologised in his thoughts, and over the time he set there he began to understand why he was so angry to see her so overly friendly with the others and most of with Syo, it reminded him of the past. The old times where he and Koneko was always together and laughed, he wished to have that time back and the old funny and clumsy Koneko; his best friend.

*But I think that she don't need me anymore, And on top of that I behaved like a total asshole.*

He looked around the Room and noticed an amulet on the floor, he stood up and went to get it. He took it in his hand and opened it, as he saw what was in there his eyes widen.

*She still holds on to that picture*

He saw that the Glas over the pictures was broken and decided to have it repaired in Town, but he couldn't bring himself to let Koneko alone in her state. In the next few days Ren couldn't sleep or eat much, he was to Worryed about Koneko; and the more time past the more worried he got. At the fives day Ren couldn't help it himself anymore and fall asleep in her Armchair, he doesn't even realiesed that the others came in the Room and that Koneko slowly woke up again. After a while he woke up and noticed that everyone was looking at him, he also noticed that Koneko was finally awake and a rush of relive washed over his Body. He wanted to tell her how relieved he was and how glad he was that she is alright, but for some reason he couldn't bring himself to tell her. Instead of saying what he really felt he let out some idiotic Comment

"Look at Who have we here, Snow White has awakened from her beauty sleep."

But instead of being angry at him she began to laugh and looked him in the eyes with a sly grin.

"Haha that says the right one, how was your beauty sleep Sleeping Beauty"

Everyone was trying hard not to laugh out loud, and Ren could feel himself blushing a little. Ren stood up and walked out of the Room

"Whatever, I have thing to take care of so if you excuse me"

He left and as he closed the Door he leaned against it for a while, he could hear the others laughing and couldn't help but smile himself.

*What's wrong with me?*

He shook his head and went into town, and had the amulet repaired in a shop. After that he went to a small Café and ordered a Coffee and some Sandwiches, since he had hardly eaten for five days because of all worried about Koneko. As he came back home he walked into Koneko and Syo in the Hallway, he instantly felt anger rise inside her and he wanted to walk away from them. But Koneko had other plans and stood in his way

"Hey Ren? Have you seen an amulet? It's silver with a black stone, you can open it and inside are two very important pictures"

In his pocket he clenched the amulet in his hand, he hated himself for it but he couldn't bring himself to give it back to her. He walked past them and only said

"No. . ."

Suddenly he heared Koneko yell at him from behind

"What the Hell Ren, do you really hate me so much?"

A little shocked he stoped in his track but didn't turn around and he couldn't say anything, Koneko on the other hand started to yell again.

"I don't believe that, I don't believe that you hate me. I know that you were  just as worried as everyone else, I just can't believe that you hate me . . . I . . . I don't want to believe it"

Ren know that she was wrong, he know that he should say something but again he couldn't bring himself to do that

"Tzz. . ."

He clicked his tongue out of anger for himself and walked away, he was angry at Syo because he was able to be by her side and he was angry about himself because he failed so many times to make it up to Koneko. He went to his Room and lay down in his Bad, he looked up at the ceiling.

* I'm such an idiot, I could punch myself for what I did; again. Why the Hell can't I just be true to myself And take a step forward, I just had to give her back the Amulet and tell her what happened and maybe we could have started over.*

He looked at the Clock and saw that it was already late at night

*I should try to sleep, tomorrow is my brother's  fashion show and I need to be in top form*

He placed the amulet on his night table and closed his eyes.
