Morning came and after an early night the sunrise didn't do much damage to the sleeping duo. They woke up fresh and without trouble.
After going through their morning routine and finally putting their various breakfast foods to good use, Asher was striding to the car Kraisee parked out front with Brooklyn over his shoulder.
You must be wondering what lead to that happening. Well, let's just say Brooklyn was being stubborn as usual and it resulted in Asher going all caveman-like on her. Which is nothing new.
She didn't even struggle as she knew it would be pointless, but that hand on her ass wasn't helping. Feeling the warmness seep through her jeans caused a liquid of desire to form in between her legs, and there was no way the driver would be pleased that they found themselves in a compromising position in the car. With him behind the wheel.
Brooklyn knew what those hands are capable of and there was nothing stopping her from thinking in that direction. She could just imagine how he would use his fingers to an advantage when he was touching her and filling her, making her feel good.
If they wanted their dignity he should really take his hand off.
"Mr Woods, Ms Reid," Kraisee greeted the moment he saw the couple walking out the front door. Okay, only one of them walked, but whatever. "How is your vacation so far."
Asher only gave him a "good morning" and she heard the sound of the car door opening. When he was about to place her in the back seat, from her upside-down position she saw Kraisee holding the door and she sent him a embarrassed smile.
"Hi, I don't think we've met," she leaned in the middle of the two front seats after the men entered. "I'm Brooklyn."
"I know who you are, Mr Woods carried you yesterday in the airport. You're lucky to have him," he said, completely swerving from the topic and talking about Asher like he wasn't there. "I'm Kraisee."
"Nice to meet you," she smiled and leaned closer to his ear. "So here's the thing, Asher wouldn't tell me where we're going, but since we're friends, you'll tell me right?" she whispered, "you do know where we're going?"
"Of course I do. But I'm afraid if he doesn't want you to know then I cannot disobey the boss in any way, or else I might get fired from my job as well due to unsatisfactory from a customer," he said solemnly, shaking his head.
"Come on, I promise I won't tell. I'll act like I don't know a thing, promise. It can be our little secret," Brooklyn gave her best puppy eyes that had only worked on Asher so far.
"I'm sorry, miss," he said to her.
She was about to talk to him in a more persuasive manner when there was a cough from behind her. She forgot he was there! "I'm glad you said that," Asher directed his steel gaze to Kraisee but that caused no effect whatsoever, "because you're right, you can lose your job if I'm not pleased with you. Or if you don't stop talking to my girlfriend and start driving I'll advise you to write your resignation letter or I'll fire you myself, which will not end pretty."
"Yes, Mr Woods," he revved the engine and put it on drive before setting out. It's truly amazing how Asher's threats enter so lightly into his carefree heart and he's able to act like nothing's wrong all the time.
It is one of the reasons why Asher couldn't actually take up on his threats. Kraisee looked and sounded so innocent he would have to be a sadist before he could purposely disappoint him. He might be a ruthless businessman but usually he deals with arrogant and despicable men, not cheerful ones with a good heart.
This was the first time Brooklyn looked at the surroundings and it wowed her that such beauty of nature can be concealed behind vast areas of trees and the barrier of the ocean. The beach house was the only building in the vicinity and with only one road that connects to it, it gave an immense feeling of privacy.
