Chapter 4:
It’s been a month since Victoria and I have officially started dating. After tomorrow we go on Thanksgiving break to see our families. The worst part about it, besides from being away from Victoria, is that my parents are on holiday in California. As I exited English class hand and hand with Victoria a wild wind kicked up.
“It’s freezing,” Victoria muttered placing her hands over her arms. I stopped and removed my hoodie and placed it around her. Misha came up holding hands with Evan.
“Can I just say how adorable that is?” Misha smiled making Victoria blush.
“So where are you guys going for break?” I asked.
“I’m stuck here which will suck majorly.” Misha groaned.
“My mum wants me to come down but I refuse to,” Victoria mumbled as we entered the main building. Everyone headed upstairs to my room, because I was the only one without a roommate.
“What’s the deal with you and your mum?” I asked once we were in the room. My shitty heater didn’t work so we sat on the floor together covered in blankets and jackets.
“We just don’t have a very loving relationship.” Victoria mumbled cuddling into my side.
“Loving relationship? More like-,” Misha started the Victoria cut her off with the ‘don’t-say-another-word’ eyes.
“Well if you guys want my parents are away and the apartment in New York is empty. I was planning on going up there anyway, we can go together.” I offered.
“Are you serious?” Victoria screamed.
“Yeah, we can watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade from outside our apartment windows.” I smiled.
“Can we all go?” Misha asked.
“Yeah all four of us, there is plenty of room. I can call my dad to get us plane tickets.” I laughed getting up and getting my phone.
“Philip are you sure we can do this?” Victoria asked.
“Yeah my parents won’t mind.” I smirked and pressed my dad’s contact to call.
“Philip I’ve been waiting for you to call,” My dad’s voice began.
“Hey dad can you have four tickets ready for Friday so I can fly out to New York,” I requested.
“Four, who’s going with you,” Dad asked.
“Victoria, Misha, Evan, and I,” I answered.
“Fine I’ll forward them to you so you can print them.” My dad muttered then hung up.
“They are bought,” I smiled and Victoria jumped up in my arms.
“Thank you Philip,” Victoria smiled hugging me tightly.
“Anything for you,” I smiled kissed the top of her head.
“We are right here,” Misha sighed making Victoria blushed.
We just got off the four hour flight from Denver to New York.
“Oh God New York is beautiful isn’t it.” Victoria smiled as we got out of the taxi to the apartment building.
