And, all the devils are here.—William Shakespeare

Emily on the side_________________________
Sarah's P. O. V
After lunch, Emily and I made our way to our next class; AP English. That was the only class we shared. Emily still had her arm linked with mine and she was chatting away cheerfully about how excited she was to hang out later and can't wait to show her huge closet full of designer clothes to me. I rolled my eyes at that.
"Maybe I can lend you some clothes and you can improve your sense of fashion. Oh wait! But you can't fit in my clothes now can you?" she said frowning at that thought. Is she really trying to be my friend? If she is, then why the constant jabs on my weight? Well I am having second thoughts about this friendship!
We entered the classroom together and the whole class went still. Literally. What's with people freezing upon our sight!? I rolled my eyes at them and made my way towards the last bench in the classroom.
Emily followed suit and sat next to me and took out her book and stationary. All in pink. She started arranging her stuff neatly according to the size, just like Mr. Bean did in one of his episodes. I looked at her weirdly as if she was an alien.
After she was done she looked up from the desk and at the people around, who might I say were still looking at us in shock. I can't blame them though. I myself am still shocked at all this sudden friendship fiasco, but I am coping well with it, ain't I?
Emily rolled her eyes at them and said "What? Never seen me before? Stop staring at me, I know I am beautiful." and combed her hair with a combing brush and continued with touching up her makeup.
Mrs. Smith entered the classroom and looked shocked upon seeing me and Emily sitting together but she composed herself immediately and proceeded with the class. Well, even the teachers were aware of the bullying and rude comments Emily and her cronies passed about me. So it might have been quite a shock to her to see us sitting together, without trying to kill eachother with our words.
The classes went by in blur and it was finally time to go home. People were surprisingly quite the whole day without taunting or passing the comments. Maybe Emily was serious when she said that no one would bother me now.
Or maybe they are still figuring this friendship out? Just like me.
I made my way outside towards the parking lot when I heard someone calling my name from behind. I turned around to see Nina and Rina sprinting towards me.
I looked at them in confusion, as to why they were running towards me, when realization dawned upon me. Uh-oh I had to hang out with them at Emily's place.
They were panting when they reached me and placed their hands on their knees to calm themselves.
"We called you so many times. Gosh! You ruined our makeup! " Rina or Nina whoever she was exclaimed.
"Well, I clearly didn't hear you guys." I said and showed my earphones, indicating I was listening to music.
They just rolled their eyes at me and straightened themselves. "You know that we have plans for today, right?" one of the twins said.
"Y-Yeah! I was on my way." I said, not admitting that I had totally forgotten about it.
They raised their eyebrows at me simultaneously, and rolled their eyes.
