I was so disgusted with my father that I would refuse to use his last name as my own. I would write my name and then my middle names never writing my surname as it was my dad’s last name. Every time I thought about that last name I would be disgusted and hurt that I was even from the same family as my father as I hated him with my whole heart. I think I refused his last name for about a year before giving up and using his last name as my own again.
