Dreams. what are they. why do they exist? are they real? or are they simply a concept to never exist.

maybe its like god.
gods existence cannot be proved. but people still choose to believe in them.
because its the one thing that gives them hope
when everything is falling apart.
but hopes are wishes
wishes are something that don't exist because it is different to what your current life is.
so there can't be a god, right?

i have dreams because i can't stand real life
it gives me something else to think about
something to focus on
gives me hope.
and one day
maybe it will be real?
