JIMIN

It had been one month and five days since my wife had slipped into her coma, and she still wasn't awake.

I had Daisy run my company while I was gone, but to be honest, I don't think I even cared if it collapsed. All I wanted was my wife back.

For the umpteenth time that day, I felt tears slide down my cheeks as I sat next to the bed, clasping her hand in mine, with my head lowered. There was nothing I could do to help her, and I felt like the most useless human on earth.

Once again, my brave, strong wife had put herself in the line of fire to save our daughter, and I was just the useless husband who did nothing.

More and more tears began to fall as I realised just how helpless I was without her.

"Bee, please," I begged again, "Please wake up, please don't leave me,"

I know it was selfish. Mina needed her mother, and she needed her father, but I just couldn't function. Her boyfriend was doing a good job of comforting her in my stead, and my business partner Namjoon was also helping out. I felt my eyes start to sting as more tears built up in my eyes.

I was useless. It was my fault this happened. I spoilt our daughter rotten from the start, and didn't support Bee enough. If I didn't do that, Bee and her wouldn't have fought, and I wouldn't have told Mina to leave.

And even if that still happened, I should have been the one in the bed. A man was supposed to protect his wife. A father was supposed to protect his son. I was a failure as a human being.

But instead, Bee was the one who stepped up right from the beginning. Bee was way too good for this world, but I didn't want her to leave it yet.

"Don't cry, Jimin,"

My eyes snapped open and I looked up when I heard the breathy voice of my wife.

"B-Bee?"

Bees pale face smiled at me weakly, "Hey, Jimin,"

I burst into fresh tears and stood up, leaning over the bed and wrapping my arms around her. I couldn't even talk I was so happy.

She hugged me back before I eventually pulled away to press the button to call the nurse.

"Where's Mina?" My wife asked, "Is she okay? She's not hurt, is she?"

MINA

I was already in tears before we reached the hospital. Namjoon drove as fast as he could without crashing, and I raced to my mothers private room before he had even switched off the engine.

"Mina," My uncle Hoseok stopped me outside the closed door, and I pushed to get past him.

"Let me through!" I cried, "I won't let them unplug the support! They're going to kill her!"

"Mina!" Hoseok shouted and I stepped back in shock. Hoseok had never shouted at me before, "Kill her? What the hell are you talking about? Your father would never let that happen. Besides, your mother is-"

"But Uncle GiGi told me they were unplugging the support!" I said, tears running down my red cheeks.

"He did, did he?" Hoseok narrowed his eyes, "I guess I'll have to have words with him. Yes, Mina, they unplugged the life support about half an hour ago. Bee is-"

I shoved past him, throwing the door open, only to have my eyes widen and my jaw drop in shock.

"M-Mum?"

My mother was propped upright in the bed, her face still pale, but her eyes open, and a smile on her lips. My father was sitting next to her gripping onto her hand like he thought she was going to run away from him, and my uncle Jungkook was trying to control his tears in the corner.

Yoongi was looking like he wanted to laugh.

"You're awake," I said with a strangled sob, before turning my gaze to my Uncle Yoongi.

"Well, I didn't lie, exactly," Yoongi explained, holding his hands up with a grin, "They did unplug the life support,"

"Min Yoongi!" Hoseok shouted from behind me, and my uncle suddenly stood a lot straighter, "How could you tell her something like that?!"

"Ah, Hoseok, well, it was kind of-"

"Kind of what?"

"A.. Joke.."

Hoseok scowled at Yoongi while I just stood there in shock.

Yoongi smiled sheepishly, "I think I should go for a bit," He turned to my mother, "Rest up, babe, I'll be back later,"

He rushed from the room, an angry Hoseok on his heels.

I turned back to my mother, who smiled at me, "Are you alright, Mina? She didn't hurt you, did she?"

She had just woken up from a month long coma, and the first thing she does is ask if I am okay. I burst into fresh tears and rushed to her, climbing onto the bed and burying my face into her neck. She immediately wrapped her arms around me as I cried, rubbing my back soothingly with her hand.

"I'm sorry!" I wailed as she hushed me, "Mum, I'm so sorry for everything!"

"I know, I know," She said gently, "Don't cry, it's alright. Everything's alright now,"
