*Melusina's POV*
"NO! IT CANNOT BE!" I slammed my hands on the table angrily. "She's starting to remember! It didn't work!"
I was so frustrated. How can she start to remember?! This was harder than I thought.
"I think it's time for desperate measures," my husband said from behind me. I thought for a moment.
"Yes, yes, you're right. But you know her. If we go back again, this time we have to pay the price," I said, tapping my finger on my chin as I paced back and forth. "And you know how she is with 'prices,'" I added.
"We'll do whatever it takes. We need her, Melusina. But nevertheless, we can't hurt her." I nodded in agreement.
"Yes, Muirgen. And we need to move, now." With that, we headed to the place where I, we know someone will help us. But the price that will be paid will be very, very horrible.
*Celeste's POV*
Radiant sunlight against the mountains, few people laughing with their companions and small, calm waves crashing through the shore.
Those are some of the things that I'm seeing at the very second. Everything feels so enlightening.
Since it was currently 5:30 in the morning, the sun has not come out yet but I could see it shining on the mountains on the opposite land of where I was sitting, giving off a somewhat reddish-brownish-orange color.
I had come to the beach that Harry brought me because I felt curious about it. It was too surreal. Harry was right, people had come here on early mornings, but only a few.
I was sitting on the picnic blanket that's firmly placed on the sand as I gazed my eyes over the beautiful scene. My feet were caressing the fine sand due to the shortness of the blanket but the water did not reach my skin. The waves were too small and effortless.
I looked over the vast, wide ocean, seeing only the part that my eyes could reach seeing and tried to compare the color of the sea and the color of the sky. Both of them were blue but the ocean has many shades of blue while the sky was, well, sky blue.
My eyes turned upward and I observed the beautiful sky. The sun was nowhere to be seen but the moon was still visible, though a little transparent. It was currently in waning gibbous as some clouds were starting to cover the small illumination in the heavens.
I turned to the left and I caught sight of clouds. They were formed like the aurora, except that clouds were in the trail of the similar northern lights-form.
I sighed and directed my view to the ships on the calm ocean. They were commercial vessels and container ships, scattered on the seas, probably delivering goods. Then, my eyes fixed on the tiny island that was in the middle of my sight. It has a castle in it, maybe a tourist destination. Anybody could rent a boat and go over there to have a picture-taking.
The castle doesn't actually have walls, only pillars to keep the red, pointed roof up. And I swear, I think this is the same castle that my brother told me he would always go to.
Although the people here were bickering and chatting around me, I don't think I can hear them because of the tranquility that the magnificent sight gave me. Things seem to be moving slowly as a warm breeze hit my right shoulder.
For me, it was quiet. Too quiet, making it very suspicious.
I stared intently at the middle of the ocean, toward the end of what my eyes can only behold. At that second, I felt the earth vibrate before me. I even felt myself go dizzy. As an instinct, my hand went up to my forehead but also immediately looked back up the seas and I saw that the ocean did vibrate. Because of that quake under the sea, my view became clear that a larger wave will crash on the shore.
I glared at the incoming waves and contrasted them with the ripples that were near the shore. Some of the waves that came were supposed to be a little bit bigger, but the wave that just suspended, collided with it making the bigger wave, small.
A few seconds after, the huge, yet not that huge, waves were about to crash. The first waves that arrived on shore were already nearing my feet. But the precise third wave that came was the biggest of the waves I've seen this morning. And that wave drove up the sand and reached both of my feet, just by the toes.
Instantly, everything in my mind was clarified as my eyes glowed a pink light.
Because I knew, something was wrong, terribly wrong.
