Celestial Crystal

1. The book

 "Happy! come on let's go, little buddy!" Natsu yelled. 

"Aye, sir!" Happy called, picking Nastu up. I was sitting in my room when I heard them outside.  

"Nastu! Happy for the last time stop breaking into my house!" I called angered like always. When Nastu gave me his same old childlike grin, I just had to smile. he never changes. thank god for that. "What do you have now for a mission?" I asked looking at the piece of paper in his hand. 

"We're going to Tenrou Island! To find an old book, that belonged to Mavis. It has some important information in it that Gramps want's. let's go!" Natsu says looking at me, with his head tilted sideways. 

"But Natsu, you would have to go on a boat, cuz I cant fly all the way there without a break or so." Happy replied shrugging. 

"Nastu should we bring Wendy along to keep your sickness under control?" I asked with a smile. Nastu shook his head. 

"Gramp's only wants a few people knowing about the book. so he picked me, Happy, Levy, Gajeel, and you to go." He said, thinking back. 

"Huh? why me. think you, levy and Gajeel can get a book without me. Levy can handle anything about the bo-" I started to say when Happy chimed in. 

"Luce we need a celestial mage to unlock the hiding place of the book so you have to come!" Happy called. 

"Do you two know how to unlock it or even know what would happen if I did use my magic to do that? Because I don't." I told them looking a little annoyed. 

"Gramp's seemed a little worried when he told us, so it's important that we get that book back here for him," Nastu says looking a little grim. I sigh. 

"Fine Let's go," I told them and off we were to meet up with Levy and Gajeel, at the harbor. When we got there levy was sitting away from Gajeel looking a little mad. Gajeel, on the other hand, had a red mark on his face, and he seemed to not grasped what had happened yet. 

"Hey, levy!" I called smiling at her. 

"Lu!" Levy called and ran up and gave me a hug. when Nastu tried to fight Gajeel. Then Nastu started laughing at him. 

"What went on here?" I asked Levy. 

"Well, Gajeel he uh. did something stupid and I hit him with my bag..." Levy whispered a little. I couldn't help but chuckle. 

"Let's get this over with," Gajeel says going on the boat. Levy and I followed. Happy talked Nastu in coming aboard. Levy and I sat in the sun enjoying a good book. when we started to hear Nastu's sickness starting. 

"Nastu, come o-" I started to say when Gajeel nocked him out.

"That should shut him up till we get there," Gajeel says then sat back down. I smile, and Levy helped me get Nastu into a chair. Once we got to the island Levy took out a piece of paper that Gramps gave her. 

"Okay, we have to go to Mavis's hometown. Then search the place she was at the most. But where would that be?" Levy asked.

"where would some on like Mavis always be? hmm." Gajeel says.

"They library where else would you keep a book?" Nastu says and ran off with happy by his side. 

"Aye sir." happy called after him. The rest of us ran after them. we came to the old town, where the Red lizard guild once called home.the buildings were falling down, on some of the old stone, there were burnt marks from 400 years ago. 

"Wow its quite sad looking at all this. Poor Mavis she had to live on the same island everything around her died and crumbled. I felt a small breeze pick up. My hair moved with it from side to side.  Levy found the library, soon after. Gajeel and Natsu started tarring up the place for this one book's hiding place, as Levy and I looked for secret buttons or levers. 

"Wait the book can only be found with celestial magic. But no one knows what will happen to the mage once unlocked." Happy says. As I found an odd looking seam in the fabric that hung on the wall. 

"Guy's I think it's behind this Cloth though it is really heavy to move. on our own." I say looking at them. then noticed what happy just said. 

"Lu you could be hurt or Worse!" Levy called. I smiled softly. 

"Guy's... it's going to be okay, I read some of the unseal meant books that Mavis had here, all the things that happen to the mage is just loss of magic energy for a while." I told them with a smile. levy looked down. Nastu Just looked at me as I started to repeat an unseal meant spell. the cloth moved and a door opened from behind it. I started to scream in pain. My clothing starting to rip. the emblem on my hand was glowing brighter and brighter. I felt my life force being drained a little at a time, then my magic power increased then decreased as I fell to my knees. the faded purple cloth fluttered to the ground. I heaved heavy breaths, as I started to fall onto my side. Nastu ran up to me, then caught me before I fell. 

"Lucy! You okay!?" He asked worriedly, as my breathing became shallow and slow. the clothing that I was wearing was in more of in shreds then cloths. closing my eyes all that I could hear was Nastu trying to wake me, Happy sniffling, Levy crying and Gajeel trying to calm her down. 

(Nastu P.O.V)

"LUCY!" I cried as she became colder. I hugged her tighter trying to get her warmed up. After staying like that for a few minutes, I could feel her warmth return. 

(Lucy P.O.V) 

I slowly started to wake up. My breathing was coming easier. I opened my eyes slowly. 

"Mmmm N-Nastu?" I asked feeling his warmth around me. 

"Luce!?" He says looking at me. I smiled. 

"See I'm fine guy's," I told them sitting up on my own now. Levy hugged me tightly. "Let's get that book," I said getting up, then walking into the doorway. I grabbed the book then walked back out.  we all started walking back to the boat. Nastu was a little too helpful helping me down the hill, to the boat. I looked at the book closely, the old pages looked torn on the sides and the cover was tattered like it was in a fire but saved as soon as the flames licked at it. 

"Lu want me to take it to Master?" Levy asked looking at the book closer. The emblem on the cover was that of a crystal with a key in the center. 

"No, I can I want to know more about the emblem and what it means from gramps," I say. Then I had a small shiver go down my spine, making me shiver.  

"Hey, Lu are you cold still?" Levy asked worried a little. I brush back some of my hair that fell out of my sideways ponytail. 

"Just had a slight chill on my neck nothing to worry about," I told her with a soft gaze. Nastu's head was on my lap when we were on the boat ride home. Looking up I say the stars, I thought about what happened when I unlocked the shield around the book. when I went to get the book. I sigh. 

"Hey bunny girl. whats up with you and flame brain?" Gajeel asked. I felt my face grow warm. 

"uh, what?! what about you and levy!" I called.  Gajeel looked away as levy blushed. Back on the mainland, we all parted way's for the night. I headed to the guild. Gramp's was in his office. 

"Hey, Master? I have that book you wanted us to get." I told him walking in.
