~Synopsis~

All through her life, Iris has had sudden, rough, flashes of pain erupt all over her body. Abandoned, all alone at Pine Creek Orphanage, with only a crumpled note with her name on it, she has no idea who she is. But when she suddenly sees scars all over her body. . .

She sees what those pains were. They were monsters attacking her that she never saw: That her friends protected her from. Her friends explain that she couldn't see through the mist until now.

Thrown into a world of monsters, magic, and betrayal, Iris departs from the Orphanage to enter Camp Half-Blood, learning more and more about her and her heritage as the days go on. As it turns out, her mother was Cassandra, a priestess of Apollo who was cursed: by Apollo.
