"Today is the day where someone is chose to go on the tour. If you all could be quiet for a moment, that way the person chosen can hear their name" said the intercom.
"Why is only one person chosen, Monsieur?," said a boy, Jeffery, in the back of the class to a teacher.
"To see if everyone is ready."
"What happens if we are deemed unready?,"
"Your class will get a fresh start unless you have been deemed unready three times. Then you'll be recycled."
The intercom came alive signalling that someone had been chosen. "From room 1479, Jeffery will be the representative of his class for The Tour."
"You must go outside the room and wait," said the teacher. Jeffery had barely closed the door when he was knocked out.
"You need to wake to start the process," said an unfamiliar but familiar voice to Jeffery.
"What the heck happened? How did I get here?," said a startled Jeffery.
"Just listen. We don't have time to deal with you, brat," said the green eyed woman who resembled the mayor. "Put this suit on and make sure to look nice. Your first test is to see how you clean up."
Jeffery stared at the governor, Emily Wadlington, doubtfully, and began to change when he realized she wasn't joking. When he was changed, Wadlington didn't appear impressed.
"Well at least you cleaned up better than most of the people. You'll be going through the blood red doors to your right."
"What's through those doors?," Jeffery said nervously.
"Find out for yourself."
When Jeffery opened the doors, he stopped dead in his tracks and let out a shrill scream that resounded off the walls inside the room. He was shoved inside the room and he heard the click of the lock once the doors were closed.
"Let me our of here. Don't leave me with these dismembered bodies. Let me out," Jeffery screamed at the top of his lungs while banging on the doors. When he looked at his hands feeling defeated he noticed they were covered in crimson liquid.
"Why is this happening?," he asked panickedly. Jeffery's heart accelerated to the point where an artery ruptured and he drops to the ground dead; while the governor walked over to the male with a smile on her face.
"Time to start the final part of The Tour."
