ABBY'S POV

I was running.

Well, at least trying to.

But I couldn't go anywhere.

I was sprinting for my life, trying to hold on to Avery and Aiden for my life.

But we went nowhere.

She was coming at us .

With a large butcher's knife.

I saw the never-ending road ahead of us.

Breathing heavily, I tried even harder to run. Sweating, panting, screaming for my life, telling Avery and Aiden to go on without me. But she kept moving closer and closer by the second, and we had little time before she was sure to kill us all. "GO, NOW!!! GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!!!" I screamed at my brother and sister. "RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! I LOVE YOU BOTH!!!" Avery and Aiden took off sobbing. They stopped at an icecream cart. Da fuq? "FORGET THE ICECREAM AND RUN!!!!!!" I was so focused on them that I hardly noticed the heavy breathing on my back. I turned around and saw her with the knife right at her side. She was grinning evily. She lifted the knife up to my neck. "No...No...MOTHER PLEASE!!!!!! NOOOOOO!!!!!" She slid the knife accross my neck, blood gushing, gushing everywhere, falling to my knees in agony.....

My eyes popped open. I was completely drenched in sweat and still wrapped up tightly in Gavin's embrace. I tried to catch my breath because I was breathing heavy from the dream. I looked over at Gavin. He had cuddled up right next to me and wrapped his arms tightly around my waist. His head was resting on my shoulder. I scooted in closer to him and he wrapped his arms around me even tighter. I wrapped my arms around his neck and curled my foot around his. His lips slightly curled up into a smile. Resting my head on his hard chest and shut my eyes, enjoying his embrace.

About thirty minutes later, I felt Gavin shift and attempt to get up. "NO." I whispered sternly. Gavin chuckled. "Good morning to you, too." he said sarcastically.

"Sorry..." I said, loosening my grip on him to look at him. He chuckled. "So before we go to rehearsal, what do you want to do today?" he asked.

"We should do something...'fit'..." I put air quotes around fit.

"Like...running?"

"YES."

"Ok.

"And then later we should go to the gym."

"OOH! I haven't been there in a while!"

"You naughty boy." I smirked and shook a finger at him. We rolled out of bed and Gavin headed towards the door. "Ready in 10?" he asked.

"Sure." I said, scratching my head. Gavin left the room and I shut the door behind him. I looked through my drawers and plucked red running shorts and a faded black t-shirt that said "BORN TO DANCE" on the front and back. I slipped them on and went to the full-length mirror next to the door to the room's bathroom. My hair looked like a rat's nest. I threw it up into a ponytail, my layers falling out. My aqua tips looked BEAST, especially up in a ponytail. My bangs hung right above my eyes, accenting their dark blue color. Smiling, I put on deodorant and my sneakers and hopped downstairs where I inhaled some cereal. I met Gavin at the door, and we headed out.

"So where do you want to run?" Gavin asked as he stretched. "It's 8:30 now, so we have time before we have to be at rehearsal." I thought for a minute and remembered a 3-mile trail around a huge lake and through the Isador Forest. "How about the Isador Trail?" I said with a smirk.
