The next day Brooke came strutting into my old room with a huge dusty book.

I gave her a strange look as she plopped on my bed

"So." She began

"I got to thinkin, and it's practically impossible to leave your mate, so that includes you and cole, also if you two are alphas the bond should be stronger!"

"My curiosity got to me last night so I slipped in the library and found a book that gives tons of info about mates..now read this"

She pushed the book towards me and pointed to a paragraph with her index finger

"So someone has been giving my pack wolf spane?"

"This doesn't explain Cole and Melanie!" I explained

"The thing is Ryan told me before I was exiled that Melanie knew cole 2 months before you and cole met so maybe when your pack joined the school it gave them a benefit!"

"But how is she related to Rodger?!"

"I don't know.. But I guess we'll have to find out."

Me, Tay and Brooke sat in the huge black SUV behind bushes across the road of the pack house where we made sure no one could see us but we could see if anyone left.

"we've been here for hourrsssss!!!" complained Tay in the back

"Shuttup! Be patient!" Brooke snapped at her

About twenty minutes later A red Mercedes pulled out I saw Rodger and Melanie up front and Cole in the back

"YES! JACKPOT!" shouted Brooke

"THANK GOD!!!" screamed Tay

I slowly pulled out of our hiding spot but kept a fair distance between the cars

They pulled into a Walmart parking lot and all got out.

"let's wait." I said

About 5 mins later we got out and followed there scents in.

"Ok spread through out the store!" Brooke said

I was walking through the women's section when I heard a man and girl arguing

"NO! You can't make me do that dad I'm the alpha!"

I peeked around the corner to see none other than Melanie and Rodger

Some one grabbed me from behind and I screamed

I turned to see skylynn smiling like a cheese ball.

then we looked up to see them walking towards us.

"RUN!" sky said

We ran all through the store to lose them, then at almost perfect timing we ran into Brooke right at the front doors!

"They saw us!" I said

We bolted to the car and drove of just as fast as we got here.

"So any news?" asked sky

"Yes." I mumbled

They both whipped there heads around and stated at me.

"WELL!!?" they asked

"Melanie is Rodgers daughter."
