"Welcome to Bridgeway!" said the school's secretary enthusiastically. Honestly speaking I am pretty excited to be attending a new school. This change was long awaited.
"Here is your schedule and I will show you to your first class" The secretary Ms.Walker said handing me a colour coordinated sheet of paper.
"Thank you so much Ms.Walker and hope you both have a lovely day, I'll pick you up at 4 Jules" said my dad.
"Bye daddy, I'll text you!"
"Your dad is a very nice man Julie" Ms.Walker stated matter-of-factly.
"I like that you speak so highly of someone whom you just met." I replied. My dad really is a nice guy, who wants nothing but the best for his family. I love him so much.
Ms.Walker ushered me to my first class which was science. She then introduced me to the teacher named Mr.Dean.
"Can we all welcome our newest lab rat Julie Jenkins!" The class giggled. I got the impression that Mr.Dean was a laid-back teacher who liked to crack jokes.
I just smiled and decided to take the closest vacant unit which was beside a tanned boy with brown hair. He moved his books towards his side which was a nice gesture I suppose.
"My name is Thomas by the way, your hair is so cool" he stared in astonishment.
So I have an afro, it is usually really big and wild but this morning I decided to tone it down and make it more tamed by curling it.
"Aw, thanks Thomas" I replied.
His comment was a relief because I really didn't know if people would accept my looks.
Mr.Dean began to speak in a foreign language?
"What's he talking about?" I whispered to Thomas.
"We are in a Chemistry block and this is a chapter called The Periodic Table of Elements" he said
"How exciting!" I replied
A/N: So this is my first story, feedback would be awesome! I think this story has a lot of potential so if you were to stick with it that would be great. Have an awesome day
