Walking along these dead streets gets your mind going, going fast. I hate walking alone but I can't stand anybody who walks with me, they always babble about random shit that I don't care about. That's great if Polly sleeps around let Polly deal with Polly. So now I am alone with my thoughts and they spit at me.
you're all alone
nobody can stand you
they think you're weird
you see that couple? they are laughing at you and your dumb look
punk, you try to be punk? HA
you're to lame to be punk
I try to tune them out by putting my music on full blast, Pierce the Veil starts playing and I keep walking around these dead streets.
I am lost in the music and before I realize it I've missed the last bus home. Great. I am stuck on the other side of London with nobody caring if I come home or not. I turn on my heals and figure I would walk until at least the buses start running.
I pull my hood over my head and as if on cue the wind picks up and it starts to rain, I walk with my head down as my steps quicken.

"Luke!" Where could that twat have gone. "Luke! Get down here! I swear to God if that Fucking school of yours called me one more time about you being late I'm gonna.." I burst through the door ready to see his scrawny little legs sticking out, but no. The bed is made and there is no sign of the little punk. I let myself smile as I grab my cell to call up the boys, "hey the twat is gone lets get drunk!"

I came into work early. I have first period off so I grab a cup of coffee and sit down to grade some papers. Before I know it the bell rings and I hear the wave of students entering the hallways. I pack up and head down the crowded hallway. Most of the kids are already seated and talking to their friends when I walk in. I mentally take a note of who is here and notice that Luke is gone. The class finishes with ease and I send them off with finishing some of an American work The Things They Carried and bringing in a title of a book they would enjoy to read for fun. I feel uneasy about Luke's absence and I feel like I should do something about it.
