Chapter 3

Ethan's point of view
Me and Lydia have been texting back and forth all night , I've now learned her favourite colour is pink , she wants to become a fashion photographer when she finishes school and her favourite food is pizza.

"Hey Eth?" Grayson shouts from his room "yeh Gray?" I already had a feeling of what he was going to ask but I replied anyway " who do you keep texting so much ? Your eyes act as if you've lost feeling in them " he laughs at the last part and I role my eyes " Lydia" I respond quietly "who?" He's now standing in my door way " Lydia , she just moved in across the street" I suddenly feel my cheeks burning up , I hope gray doesn't notice " HAHAHA DUDE ARE YOU BLUSHING?" Shit guess he did " shut up Grayson , she's actually a really cool girl okay" I reply feeling embarrassed " is she hot?" He has a huge smirk on his face now , jackass " yeh , she is" I start to smirk back, I mean she was hot , there was no doubt about that " aw dude , show me a picture " he suddenly throws himself onto my bed laying on him stomach prompting him self up with his hands " Sure Grayson come in" I role my eyes "fine, here" I pass him my phone " woah , shit she is hot , what's her Instagram name ?" He starts laughing and I punch him in the arm "fuck off grayson " he laughs as he walks out of my room "AND DON'T YOU DARE DM HER" he laughs even harder and I flip him a finger though the wall.

Lydia's point of view
Another 'beep' comes my phone and I feel all excited, me and Ethan have been texting none stop , he's so funny and sweet , I learned that Grayson isn't his only sibling , he has a sister named Cameron and he was also born first ( by 20 minuets to be exact) I also learned him and Grayson make videos on YouTube and he has like a ton of fans. " Lydia sweetheart, time for breakfast " I groan and stomp down stairs leaving my phone on my bed , I don't wanna have to explain that to my mom , I slump in my chair , I already feel like I have withdrawal symptoms from my phone , I look down and notice pancakes in front of me , " Hey this is one of Ethan's favourite foods" shit I just said that out loud "who's Ethan?" Well I'm screwed " oh, well he lives across the street, he introduced us to the neighbourhood yesterday and we exchanged numbers .." why did I have to be such an idiot " aw well he seems nice " my mum replies with a small smile , well shit I wasn't expecting that " yeh , he is " confusion smacks me right in the face " well I'm going to get ready now , I'll .. yeh" I sprint up the stairs still confused at how not bothered my mother was about her teenage daughter meeting a boy and snatch my phone , 4 messages "hey Lydia , you wanna do something today" " hey Lydia you there ?"
"Hello?"
"Lyyyyydddiiiaaaaaaa"
I giggle at the last one and quickly reply " hey , sorry I was eating my breakfast , sure I'd love too , meet me outside in 15 mins?" I click send and run to my closet , what do you wear when your seeing a really good looking , kind , funny , caring guy for the second time ? I finally decide to go for a cropped light pink hoodie , black skinny jeans and a denim jacket , perfect , I run a brush though my hair , brush my teeth and rush out the door.

Ethan's point of view
I wait , and wait , and wait for Lydia to reply and suddenly I feel like an idiot , she probably thinks I'm clingy , she's probably thinking I'm a weirdo or something , she probably 'bing' I snatch my phone so fast I nearly drop my phone on my face "Hey , sorry I was eating my breakfast, sure I'd love too,meet me outside in 15 mins ?" I rush out of bed and get ready , today is gonna be a day alright , I decide to wear a open flannel shirt with jeans and a beanie " Hey where you off to?" I turn to see Grayson in my door way.   " I'm going out with Lydia " I say and suddenly smirk , I can't wait to see her " awesomeeee give me 5 mins to change " Grayson suddenly runs to his room and I freeze, jackass trying to make the first move on her " Grayson I don't think you heard me correct , I said just me meaning your not coming " I walk into his room and laugh , he tried to put on a t-shirt that fast he put his head in the arm hole " hey idiot , you need some help?" I start laughing again as he flips me off " please Ethan come on I wanna meet her , plus I found her Instagram and she's like ... really hot " Grayson looks at me with he's puppy dog eyes " no , fuck you Grayson , don't you dare look at me like that " I can't ever say no when he looks like this , fucking bitch , he knew what he was doing " please Ethan , I just want to meet her " he looks at me and flutters his eyes " ugh fine , and for the record fluttering your eyes doesn't work on me , you look like a fucking moron " I laugh and he scowls at me and punches my arm " don't know why your taking your anger out on me , you did it " I say laughing even harder " your horrible Ethan , you know that " he replies as we walk out the door .
I see her , well damn , she was even more beautiful then I remembered, she was wearing a cropped hoodie showing of her perfect toned stomach with skinny jeans and a denim jacket , was there a secret photo shoot I didn't know about ? There's no way someone can look this good and not have a reason " Hey I'm Grayson " I snap out of my trance and notice I'd slowed down in my walk towards her " oh , hey , it's nice to meet you " she smiles , well fuck , that's me going into weirdo mode " hey Ethan , you okay dude ?" I see Grayson looking at me and then burst out laughing " shut up Grayson , hey Lydia , you okay?" I walk up to her and engulf her in a hug , she laughs and hugs me back , haha fuck you Grayson " hey Ethan , yes are you?" I smile as I pull back " I am now " I realise how that might have sounded pathetic, I look up to see her with a shy smile and her cheeks red , blushing , I made her blush , why do I feel like I just won an award for making her blush , Ethan for god sake get a grip " well we're are we off ?" Grayson makes both of us snap out of our thoughts and look at him " I have no idea " she replies and they both look at me " who wants to go to the skate park ?" I suggest and they both nod , we all walk back over to mine and Grayson's house to grab our boards and get in our jeep " let's go " Grayson shouts I look at him and laugh " dude calm down " I hear Lydia giggle " sorry, it's just we haven't been on our boards in like forever , hey Lydia can you skate?" He looks at her through the rear view mirror for a second and then back on the road " well I've never tried , I'm assuming not " she laughs slightly and we do too " don't worry we'll teach you , it's such a good feeling being on the board " she smiles at me " I can't wait , it sounds so fun " there's a comfortable silence for a couple minutes, the only sound is the radio in the background , suddenly I hear a quiet laugh " what ?" I turn to look at her and laughs again " I was just thinking I'm going to friken skate board today , well you know what they say , only in LA" we all laugh and we turn the corner , skate park in sight.
