Present day ...
Lyds " my mom shouted from down the hall "yes mom , I'm coming give me a second " today were moving to our new house , imagine that , leaving everything you've ever known and starting a new place as a stranger " Lydia honey come on we gotta go" my dad shouted snapping me out of my trance " friken hell I said I'm coming " I pick up my bag , take a last look at my childhood bedroom
and turn on my heels out through the door.
"Do we really have to do this?" I asked slightly irritated " Lydia , we have been through this , your father has a new job , meaning we need to move closer so he can actually work his job" my mom answered just as irritated " girls , my two beautiful girls , come on , this is a new adventure, try and see the good side of things lyds, Okay?" My dad responded , that's my dad , always trying to keep the piece , don't get me wrong I love my mom but we're just so alike we clash quite often and well I'm not gonna lie she's a bitch " okay dad , sorry , I'll promise to try , I have always wanted to go to LA" I answered innocently " that's the spirit lyds " and with that my dad put the key in the ignition and we started rolling forward.
A few hours on the road my phone vibrates in my jean pocket waking me up , I've never been good with traveling, if it takes longer then 2 hours I tend to sleep it away , but , I always sorta like the idea of waking up not knowing what time it is or where you are , it makes me feel like Ive time travelled , I stretch and grab my phone from my pocket "L, omg boo! I'm gonna miss you so much , you have to promise me you'll Skype me everyday, love you,s" it was a text from my best friend Serena , this is the reason why I didn't want to leave , me and Serena have been best friends since third grade , we were just like sisters , if I wasn't at her house she was at mine and vice Versa , she was the only person I knew I could 100% trust with anything , every crush, every problem , even all the embarrassing stuff , and she knew she could tell me the same " oh babe I'm gonna miss you so much too , I'll skype you the minute I get to the new house , I already miss your face , please don't change too much without me " and after I clicked send a wave of sadness sparked though me without me the words stuck out like a sore thumb , I knew I had to try and stay positive but it hurt like a bitch , so I switched my phone off , put it back in my pocket and tried to fall back asleep
" Lydia honey, wake up , we're here" I was woken up by my mother shaking my shoulders , the brightness hurt my eyes as a tried to prise them open "huh?" I mumbled through a sleepy voice "were here darling" holy shit my eyes snapped open then "wait really? We're actually here ?" I looked up out of my window , only to be met by the airport, " yes honey were actually at the airport?" My mom gave me a confused look and then she laughed " you didn't think I meant the house did you , we can't just teleport Lydia " she said laughing even harder " well why you getting so excited about the airport , making me think I slept though everything " I replied , joining in with her laughter .
" All flights to Los Angeles" I didn't need to hear the rest of what the lady was saying , I knew we were finally getting on the plane "...

Sorry this isn't that long , I just wanted to give sorta like a pilot chapter ? Just to see if people like it , the girl at the top is the character for Lydia, I'll write again soon , thank you for reading, E x
