Chapter 1
I was sitting on the swing in my backyard, staring at the big oak tree. My mum wasn't there, she was in Scotland visiting Grandma. I felt a tear dripping down my cheek for who knows what reason. There was a strange sound, like, well, I can't explain it. Then a blue police box just ended up like 15 feet in front of me. The door opened, THE WRONG WAY, and a man in a bowtie and fez I believe walked out.
"Hello! I'm The Doctor, who are you?"
I looked at him, wicked confused. A man just popped out of a box that suddenly appeared in my backyard and now he wants to know my name.
"Umm... Maia..." I hesitated. "Maia Williams." He smiled brightly and I looked terrified. My head then relaxed. But then his smile faded. He took my face in his hands.
"Oh Maia..." He gave me that look like I didn't know I lost something but he did.
"What..." I looked even more scared.
"What happened? What- What the-but- huh?" I was about to cry. Of course, I didn't know why. But then again, I did. I had lost something and only he knew what it was.
"Your mother... she went to Scotland, correct?" he said, my head still in his warm, welcoming hands.
"W-What happened to my mum? What happened?!?" I was screaming. He gave me such a look that I just grabbed him and hugged him, HARD.
I don't know why, just kinda happened.
"Maia, it's ok. We can get away. I know you hate this place." He reassured. How the heck did he know I hated this place?
He took my hand and kissed my forehead. "Okay, let's go to where ever." I sniffed.
We walked to the police box. He opened the door, and once again, he opened it the wrong way. He walked in first. "Are you alright Maia?" He said thoughtfully.
"Yeah. Hey, what's your-" I walked in the box and let me tell you, IT WAS HUGE. "Woahhhhh..."
Chapter 2
"Anywhere in time and space, where do you want to go?" The Doctor chirped excitedly. I seemed totally lost.
"What do you mean? Time and space?" I didn't understand at all. But then again, I was in a blue box that was bigger on the inside, so I shouldn't have been so confused.
"Exactly what I say, time and space. Anything particular?" He grinned.
"Um, no. You choose." I couldn't help smiling. Then we both started laughing.
Then I started bloody crying. Yay.
"Maia? What's wrong?" He said concerned. His face was just, ugh, I can't explain it, too sad. I take it he didn't like seeing people cry.
"Um, I'm," I sobbed. "I'm not... Sure..." I couldn't stop. Was it because of Mum? I was crying a lot that day. But it was becoming a problem. I was crying all the time now. It was a tough time, I know, but at random times, like when The Doctor showed up. "Why, why is..." *sniff* "why is this happening to me?" I asked tearfully.
The Doctor looked me over, then made a buzzy thing light up green and, well, buzz, me over. "Oh, oh no way... She can't be... Really?" The Doctor said to himself-or the buzzy thing, I don't know.
"What?" I asked. "And what's that, that thing? The thing you scanned me with? And why am I still bloody CRYING?!?" I screeched. I made The Doctor jump and drop his buzzy thing.
"Okay! We have some news to go over! Well, first of all, my 'thing' is a Sonic Screwdriver. And the other things... um..." He hesitated. Great.
And here comes some more bloody CRYING!
