Relax.

You've handled worse, right?

Zombies, mummies, hell, planes, Tom, booby traps, clones, more zombies...

How bad can a shark be?

I crack my knuckles and stretch. This could be a long chase if I'm going to get that shark away from the boat.

To keep Tom safe...

I look over my shoulder and stare at the blue man on the ground, who's currently curled up in a ball and shivering. He's whispering to himself and crying. I roll my eyes. Is now truly the time to act pathetic? Well, I guess it makes me more of a hero.

Now, back to the shark.

I rack my mind for what I learned back in the army for predators like sharks. They all seem big and scary, but in reality they all have their weaknesses.

Everything has a weakness.

Their eyes, yes that's it. Stick your thumbs into their eyes to temporarily blind them, then kick their nose and swim. Make sure they're blind, their chasing abilities are greatly dependent on their sight. Scoop out the eyes, and it's game over for the shark.

I nod and grin. This should be a piece of cake. I've swam for over an hour during army training. Just let it get tired and come back.

Then everything will be o-

I let out a scream as razor-like teeth clamp around my leg, dragging me into the ocean. I quickly kick the sharks snout, making it recoil back and release me. I scramble for a grip to pull myself up onto the lifeboat, gritting my teeth as blood flows into the water from the wound on my leg.

I was supposed to make the first move, but I just had to let myself get distracted, didn't I? And what's worse, now its got the advantage.

Fan-fucking-tastic.

My hands can't seem to get a grip and l slip back into the ocean, letting out a gasp as my body hits the frigid water. My eyes open in time to see the shark racing towards me, jaws wide open and ready to kill.

Oh no...
