He's Gone

Why does he always bring himself down?

Every time he looks in the mirror all he sees is the bad.

He sees a fat kid staring back at him, he sees a boy

that is doomed to look, sound like, to be his father.

But that's not all he is, is it?

No because what he sees you see the opposite.

You see a boy that is fighting to be free,

free of all the pain that he and others have laid on him.

You see him walking on the path that other have set for him.

But you don't want that, do you?

You want him to make his own path, to make

his life better for him, to set his future before his eyes

and watch him grow into the brave, strong man that

you know he will be. But how can you see all the good in

him when there is none.

All the dreams and hopes you have for him are non-existent.

For you are here and he is lost in his own little world.

Where nothing bad can happen to him.

Where all the pain and suffering in this world are gone.

Where no one knows the lies that haunt these walls.

Because he's gone, your "future" for him is non-existent.

His death is just a chimera stuck in the back of your head.

He's gone!

Get over it.
