Hermione Riddle; The Dark Princess

Chapter 1- Year 5

Hermione's POV (2 weeks before school starts in year 5)-

I run. I run and run and don't stop. Even when my sides burn and I feel like throwing up, I keep running. I hear Ginny screaming my name, begging me to come back but it's too late. Those monsters I called my family killed them. They killed my parents without a second thought. "They were with You-Know-Who 'Mione, we had to kill them." Ron had said, with no remorse in his eyes. I stop running when I see The Leaky Cauldron's sign. I go inside and sit down for a few minutes, trying to catch my breath. After I've gotten a drink of butterbeer, I go into Diagon Alley, then walk down the dark, gloomy steps to enter Knockturn Alley, where Hagrid found Harry in our second year. I wander into a bookshop for the Dark Arts, grab a book and begin to read. After a few hours, I hear a firm but slimy voice that can only belong to Lucius Malfoy, "Well, well, well, what's a mudblood like yourself doing in a bookstore for the Dark Arts?" I look up and reply,

"Reading a book Mr. Malfoy, and how about you and Ferret?" then I return back to my book, not listening to his reply.

"Well mudblood, why are you really here? Surely that idiotic Order  of yours hasn't done anything?"

I look up sharply, "What's it to you?"

Lucius chuckles, "Oh, it's just why else would the brightest witch of our time be doing in Knockturn Alley is she weren't here for revenge? Perhaps on a certain Order?"

He does have a point, I can't argue with that. "Fine, I'm here to find some way of revenge on Harry and Ro-Weasley." I finally give in, telling older Malfoy everything that had happened in the past 24 hours, from them killing my parents to currently sitting here, reading.

"Well, young Granger, I believe you might want to become a Death Eater and join the Dark Lord in killing Harry Potter." 

I consider this option, is it a trick? Are they just going to kill me when I get there?  "Fine, but if this is a trick, I won't hesitate to kill you, or your wife." I say, "Should we go now?"

"But of course Miss Granger." He grabs my arm, and we Apparate to Malfoy Manner.

Unknown's POV-

What is Granger doing with Father? Where are they going? I decide to apparate home and figure out where they went and what they were talking about.
