Chapter 9: The New Recruits

"So..." Said Dom, " Your called Tofuu?"

"Yes, also called Joe."

"Where you friends with those guys before?"

"Yeah some of them."

"Ant or Poke?"

"Ant."

"Ok, Ant is still out there though, we need to stop him."

"Also, do you know where Charlie is?"

I turned to Ryan. He looked back at me. He then looked at Joe. I turned to Joe...

"Charlie is... dead..." Joe stopped speaking and a shocked face appeared. He then looked down. To stop the sad part of the journey, I broke the silence.

"Joe, Bacon."

They both looked up at me.

"Welcome to the team!"

They both looked at each other, then back to me and smiled. We eventually got back to the Volcano Base. They walked through the secret entrance and made it in. So did Cringley... He ran as fast as he could to his car while we chased after him. He got a pistol and shot at us. We had to hide behind a wall. Then Ant got into his car and drove away.

Later we went to the donut store. We pretended to be just citizens getting some food. But we wanted money.

"Hello! How may I help you."

"One cash register please, oh, and four donuts..."

I took a gun out my pocket while the others were on the lookout. The Head Officer was in the gun shop, which was right beside the store they were in. Ryan turned around "Uh... we might wanna go quick." Dom knocked the cashier unconscious and took the money quickly as possible. Then they ran outside and got in the car. Ryan got to the steering wheel and tried to turn the car on. It wouldn't work.

While this was happening, the police saw us. They turned on their engine and was ready to shoot. Ryan kept on turning the knob. It wouldn't work. Then I took the key out and shot inside the hole. It started rumbling. We then drove away, leaving the police in our dust...
