It was Saturday. Rizzy had enough of this. She had enough of the anxiety.
She did not want to wait any longer.Hopping out of her bed, she got dressed out of her pajamas and into some jeans, black socks, and a black short sleeve T-shirt. She didn't really care about what she wore or what she looked like. She was going to find Al. Today. With or without Marshel's terrible help.
Rushing downstairs after grabbing a bag, she stuffed some snacks, candy, and water bottles inside. Marshel approached her from behind, nosey into what she was doing.
"Where are you going this time?" He frowned and watched her pack the food.
"I'm going to find Al. With or without you coming along." She said as she continued and walked to the door with her keys.
"Well you know me." He followed her out of the house as she locked the door after closing it.
Rizzy was silent. She walked over to her car and got inside after Marshel, then revving up the engine. She swore to herself that she definitely was going to find him today, and nothing was to get in her way at all.
Rizzy drove off quickly and for a while. She drove for hours and hours with Marshel tired after a while of driving in the car. Rizzy drove around the whole state, looking for Al. It was already getting dark and she pulled up at a gas station nearby. She was lost already, and was running low on gas. Luckily, she brought all of her money. Two thousand dollars. She was good for a bit and did not care about anything else and only wanted to look for Al. That's all she really wanted.
Rizzy ate on all the snacks and went inside the store, buying more snacks, a map, and paying for gas while Marshel waited in the car.
She eventually came back out with a bag full of food and set it in the car and filled the car with gas, before getting back inside and driving off once again.
"When can we go home..?" Marshel asked as he looked at her.
"When we find Al." She said and payed attention to the road. Marshel groaned after she replied and sighed, looking out the window as he rolled his eyes.
It was Sunday morning at it was seven and Rizzy still has been driving around for hours with no sleep. Marshel was the only one who did sleep though.Rizzy drove into the woods for a bit but not too far to where she would get lost.
Marshel woke up and rubbed his eyes and looked around and saw that he was surrounded by trees while inside the car. Funny thing is, Rizzy wasn't inside as she went on ahead and walked through the woods for any trace of Al. She was fucking insane. She's going through all this trouble for some guy she met at the bar. In a way it's kind of funny. Maybe she was obsessed with finding him. What would she do if she did? That's something she even didn't know. Rizzy didn't trust herself anymore, but the only thing she truly believed was that she was going to find him.
Marshel caught up with Rizzy immediately and she continued on going forward. That's all she could do, was keep going forward until she met her goal.
Rizzy had her bag over her shoulder and walked over some poison ivy and branches, with Marshel right behind her. She tried to ignore him as she stayed silent.
"Where are you going now?" He finally asked.
"Forward. Now shut the fuck up."
"Wow, I just spoke to you today and this is how you act?" He growled.
"I don't CARE, Marshel." She snapped and sipped from her water bottle.
Marshel frowned and suddenly smacked the full water bottle out of her hand and it spilling everywhere on the ground and plants. I mean hey why not water the plants?
But, that was her last water bottle. She had no more food either because of her binge eating since she had a lot on her mind
"WHAT THE FUCK?!?! I SWEAR TO GOD I AM GOING TO KICK YOUR A-" She stopped, being interrupted by Marshel.
"What the fuck is that?" He pointed to something ahead of them. It was...a door. A door? Here? In the middle of the woods?
"....." Rizzy said nothing, but got close to it, unconsciously heading to go through it. Marshel tried grabbing her and telling her to stop, but she could actually ignore him.
Marshel stopped. He wasn't there anymore. Rizzy had a feeling or just thought that Al could be through that door. But could he really? Could he? Could have all of this been a dream? Could Rizzy have been imagining all of this? All of those possibilities, and yet Rizzy still decided to go through the door. And find him.
She was suddenly stopped, by being knocked out from a heavy and large rock being thrown at her head, causing her to fall over, as her head bled and was unconscious.
Footsteps got louder as they approached, and a familiar woman stepped in front of her unconscious body.
Rachel.
She had burns on her arms and a just a slight bit on her face and legs. Her hair was a mess, and too was she. It seemed as if she's been in hiding after escaping from the fire because she knew they had found out about the murder.
"Fuck you..Ryleigh.." Rachel panted as she kicked her body and looked at the door. Rachel couldn't believe her eyes. Hell if she was crazy she didn't care. She just wanted to get away.
Rachel stepped through the door, and it closed and disappeared along with her.
Some men that were hunting for deer, spotted Rizzy or..Ryleigh.
Ryleigh opened her eyes. All she could see was a white room and bright lights all around her, and a couple of men wearing white. She woke up from her concussion finally and blinked. Everything was blurry and she didn't know what was going on.
"Ah Ms. Foster. You're awake. Finally." A male voice spoke as he held a clipboard and looked closely at her. The other men in white gave her..weird looks, and which she didn't understand why.
She groaned a bit, "...I..my head..where's Marshel? Marshel Jenkins? Where am I..? Where's the..door. THE DOOR!! THE DOOOOOR!" She exclaimed.
One of the females gave an odd look and seemed prepared for something.
The man in white jumped a bit, but spoke. "Ms. Foster, please, calm down. You're in a mental institution and you just got up from a concussion."
She slammed her hand down, "The DOOR! In the WOODS! I have to go through there and find Al. NOW. Where's Marshel. I need Marshel." That's something she'd never say.
The nurse jumped, "Doctor-"
The doctor ignored her and looked at Ryleigh with a sigh.
"Ms. Foster. There was no door. Marshel Jenkins had passed away nearly a week ago. Now please, we're here to help you."
Ryleigh was quiet. Was she mad..? Was Marshel even real..? Did she..set Rachel and her house on fire? Was she the one that stabbed her cat, Jocelyn? Is that who's been behind all of this madness? Everything? She couldn't trust that person any longer. Ever again.
Ryleigh sighed and ignored the doctors and nurses, and closed her eyes.
End?
