Ryleigh walked out of the mental institution.
Three weeks pass.
Marshel wasn't real.
Hell Al and the door weren't real either.
Ryleigh knows now she went into those woods. She's not oblivious of anything anymore. She knows she made mistakes. She knows now that something was wrong with her this whole time. She stayed at the mental institution for about three months. Luckily, she was let off the hook for "killing" Rachel, as she thought before that her hallucination (Marshel) was the one who set the fire.
Who knows what happened to Rachel after being knocked out by her. Ryleigh is still oblivious to some things. It's not like she knows everything. All she wanted to do was live her once-normal life with her cat that is still dead, and continued working as a bartender. It's not like she wanted to be a bartender, but she couldn't find any other job. Now, she desperately need a job, and ASAP.
Ryleigh could barely understand Jocelyn's (her cat) death. All Ryleigh could guess was that she must've left a window open somewhere in her house and her cat got out and got attacked by some other animals..
Anyways, Ryleigh finally went home. Her anxiety and determination to find her old friend, Al had completely vanished. There was nothing to worry about anymore. Nothing at all. Actually, she felt nothing. No sadness. No anxiety. No anger. No happiness. Nothing. Whatsoever. She actually didn't care about her cat's death after her realization that
Nothing
Is
Real.
