When you woke up you felt happy. You'd grown so used to dealing with everything you forgot what happiness was like. You remember yesterday when Mitch took you to your favorite coffee shop and it made you smile.

Well you are right. Skylar will probably come to.

You woke up Skylar and told her about tonight. She was excited to see the leafs again. You ate breakfast then headed to school.
"I can't wait to see the leafs tonight."
"Me too it feels like forever since we've seen them play."
Addison
Can you please bring me something for lunch?

That's a little bit before practice ends but I'll try to get to the store and school in time.

History was always a class you hated but it was a easy class so you deal with it. After history it was lunch so you went outside and waited to see if Mitch could make it.
"Yay he made it." You said to Skylar who waited with you.
You then made your way to Mitch's car.
"Thank you."
"It's no problem I left to the store right after practice and was scared I wouldn't make it and I'm rambling again anyways can't wait to see you tonight."
"See you tonight." You said with a smile.
You and Skylar walked back inside cause she was complaining about how cold she was.
"You know all the kids at this school as always overwhelmed me." Skylar said.
"Same here I've just gotten used to it. How are you and Connor brown?"
"We're alright. I haven't hung out with him in a while maybe I should this weekend."
"You definitely should."
The bell rang which meant lunch was over. You finished the rest of the food quickly and ran to class.

Doing anything after school?
Addison
Nope.
Marner💓
Good I'm taking you ice skating then.
Addison
Don't you have media or other stuff to do.
Marner💓
Don't worry we'll ice skate for an hour I'll drop you off at your house then go back to the ACC until the game.
Addison
Okay. I've missed doing stuff like this so much.
Marner💓
Me too.
The rest of the school day you had a smile on your face and you were the happiest.
"I'm going ice skating with Mitch." You told Skylar as you guys will be walking out of the class.
"Okay, when do you think you'll be back?"
"4 or 4:30."
"Have fun and don't die on me."
"I'll try not to."
When you got in Mitch's car he had the biggest smile on his face.
"Ready to go ice skating?"
"Definitely."
Once you got to the rink Mitch acted like a child which made you laugh a lot.
"Mitch I swear if you push me and I fall."
"You won't fall."
"See you haven't fell."
"I know how to skate I'm just scared you'll push me."
The hour had passed by quickly and before you knew it you were back home.
"After the game come back into the locker room."
"Okay"
When you walked inside the house it smelt so good.
"Dinner is almost ready I know it's early but I wanted to make sure you girls had something to eat before the game tonight."
"Thank you."
"It's no problem your part of our family now you can even call us your mom and dad."
The second Skylar's mom said that for the first time in forever you actually felt like you were apart of a family. You were home.
