Mitch finally agreed on driving after everyone fought over it for 5 minutes.

"Why do I have to be in the back." Skylar blurts out.

"Cause you just do."

"Meany."

"Will you two shush and let me drive?" Mitch said actually sounding somewhat annoyed.

He looked tired and just wore out. Probably from practice and stuff. You gave him a comforting look and he smiled at you a little.

"Hey, do you want me to drive?"

"Yea."

"Okay."

Mitch pulled into a random store and you switched places. The second Mitch got in the back seat he put his head on the window and fell asleep.

"I think it'll be a good idea to just go home after the mall." Skylar said quietly trying not to wake Mitch.

"Yea I agree."

20 minutes later you woke Mitch up. He still looked tired.

"Me and Destiny agreed to come home after the mall." You told Mitch.

"Can you stay at my house for a bit?" Mitch asked.

"Yea I'll drop Skylar back at the house then we can take your car to your house."

"Okay."

The mall was actually fun. After a bit, Mitch seemed a little happier he started to skip through the mall which made you and Skylar laugh. He also got excited when he saw himself in a store or something. One time he held up a shirt with him on the front and even after you told him not to buy it he bought it anyway. Skylar ended up buying shoes for her date tonight. You found some shirts that you liked and bought those. An hour had passed by and Mitch was starting to get grumpy again. Everyone agreed to leave then Skylar drove back.

"I feel so bad it won't be a double date anymore." You told Skylar in the driveway while Mitch was already in his car.

"It's fine. It seems like Mitch is tired and just needs someone right now. You guys are also now dating so go spend time with him."

"I will have fun tonight."

"Yea I will see you in a bit."

You got in Mitch's car with a smile. Mitch didn't really talk that much on the way. When he got to his apartment you said hi to Auston. He could also tell something was wrong so he just went to his room.

"You going to tell me what's wrong?"

Mitch started to cuddle with you on the couch then he finally spoke.

"It's just coach. I've been practicing so much and staying up late to see what I'm doing wrong. I just I feel like I'm not doing good enough. I wish coach could see how much I've been practicing."

"Babe you do so much for the team and you're a great player just don't overwork yourself."

"I know I wish it was that easy."

"Let's just go get some sleep."

"I like that idea."

Mitch showed you to his room where you guys cuddled again and mumbled I love you to each other before falling asleep in each other's arms.
