This story is about a girl named Amber who can't choose who to love and also doesn't wanna continue getting hurt over and over again. Will she find the one or will she continue to get heartbroken....or possibly be the heartbreaker.
Amber I woke up this morning with Trey still sleeping beside me. I got out of the bed and did my hygiene routine before going down to make some breakfast. Today I decided to stop by the studio to work on a few things for my album. I finished my food, got dressed, and left a note for Trey before leaving out. I walked into the studio to see Derek, he was working out some beats for Chris. After they finished Chris got his things and left out. "Hey that sounded really good when you gonna make some beats for me," I said after the music stopped and Chris left. "Whenever you got the time and ain't too "occupied" in the booth with Trey," he said with a little chuckle. "Yea about that I'm really s-" "Nah don't apologize it's all good Amber," he said walking out leaving me in the room alone. I decided to just go back home. Trey was still sleep when I walked in but his phone was buzzing I looked to see the caller ID:

I instantly got mad, he says he wanna be with me yet he got these other hoes calling with heart emojis like I'm not even here. I left back out the house. Once I got in the car I called Derek. D: hello A: hey you doing anything D: nah not really wassup A: I just need someone to talk to can I come over He got quiet for a second ...... A: please D: *sighs* yea A: ok I'm on my way D: aight I got to Derek house he opened the door with a straight face, hiding the fact that he was happy to see me. "Hey," I said while walking into his house. "Hey, so what did you want to talk to me about." "I really just needed a friend to talk to about me and Trey" "ok what about him" "well I feel like me and him have been getting really close together we hung out all day yesterday and it was great but he has girls all over him," I said looking down. "What you mean" "he got a phone call today from this really pretty girl, Kelly, I wasn't worried about it, but he had heart and wet emojis beside her name, it just makes me feel a little stupid getting close to him like I am, just for him to break my heart" "your probably overthinking this it probably was nothin or like an ex girlfriend and he just forgot to change her name" "I don't know maybe your right I probably am just overthinking the whole situation." My mom called interrupting our conversation. A: Hey momma Mom: hey baby how you been A: I'm ok what about you Mom: I've been good what you doing A: nothin just hanging out with my friend Derek Mom: well maybe you and your friend can come over to the cookout at my house A: ok momma we'll be there Mom: good ok bye love you A: bye love you too "You leaving?" Derek said after I got off the phone. "I was actually wondering if you would come with me to a cookout at my mom's house" "aight cool, yea I'll come with you" "ok😊." Me and Derek drove over to my mom's house. "Hey baby," my mom said greeting us as we walked in. "Hey mommy" " and who is this handsome young man," she said looking at Derek. "This is my friend Derek" "Nice to meet you Mrs Palmer" We hung out for a little bit at my mom's house, I introduced him to everybody, and we danced around the house. Everybody really liked him, all of them thought he was my boyfriend or whatever. We finally left and went back to his house. Once we got back in the house I sat my things down and went over to the couch where Derek was. "I had fun today, thank you for coming with me," I said. "No problem it was fun, maybe we can hang out again one day." "Yea maybe, I just got a lot on my plate with Trey and everything" "whatever man," Derek said as he was about to walk away. "What do you mean whatever?" "Every time you needed advise about some other guy, I'm the one that comes to mind." "Ok what's so bad about that you're my friend" "I'm not tryna hear you tell nobody that I'm just a friend, just trying to make sure I'm that body that you call your man." "Derek you know I'm with Trey." "Stop tripping" "what?" "I know you got a man but girl he's slipping, I want you to see just how much your man ain't me. Can you see, you and him ain't meant to be together, life with me will be better. Just let him leave with Kelly you'll be doing yourself a favor girl I'm just tryna save you." "Ok" "ok what?" "I wanna be with you." He leaned in and kissed me and everything just happened at once. It felt amazing being in his arms and falling asleep with him, but all I could think about was Trey. Eventually the thoughts slowly faded away and I went to sleep with Derek. Me and Derek hung out a lot after that night and eventually Trey stopped calling to see where I was at. I know I should've talked to him to let him explain the call, but I never did, I left and never looked back. Everything with Derek is nice I just wish I had more.
