**********

Djordi: Can you tell me a bit about yourself?

-hawkwing: I mean, most stuff that I could say is what's on my profile, I guess. But I'm 19, turning 20 in May and I'm from New Zealand. My name's Candice, but most people on here call me Candy.

Djordi: So you have 37 published stories on your profile now. How does that feel? When do you find the time to write them?

-hawkwing: Well, actually not all 37 that are published are actually stories, only about 25 of them are actual chaptered stories. The rest are either one-shot books, or just random books. I'm not sure how that makes me feel really, I've never really thought about it honestly. I've actually got quite a lot of time to write, seeing as I don't currently have a job (yes, I'm nearly 20, and don't have a job yet... Still looking for one currently). Though, I don't really find myself sitting for hours writing, thank you distractions and writers block, which usually always seem to disappear by 2 in the morning...

Djordi: Is there a reason you write LGBT novels over heterosexual ones?

-hawkwing: Well, I guess it's just what I started out writing on here. I'm not going to say that I wouldn't write hererosexual ones, as I've got some planned. It's just that most of the ships that I like and enjoy writing about are LGBT.

Djordi: How long does it typically take you to write a story?

-hawkwing: Now that's debatable honestly. Sometimes maybe a few months if I'm lucky, or maybe a year or two. Reason being as I don't just write one story at a time, which I've come to find out probably isn't the best route for me to go any more, seeing as I can't just sit and write for hours at a time any more.

Djordi: Do you find it easier to write male characters or female characters? Why?

-hawkwing: Well, basically all the stories that I have up right now the main characters are male, so I'd say male. But really, I don't exactly find one easier than the other. I can write both just as easily as the other. What I find a bit more difficult, seeing as I write fanfiction, is staying true to the character or person's true personality without altering them too much to fit the plot of the story. One character in particular that I've started writing about is a rather, complex character with all that he's been through and suffered throughout his years, so it takes some time to get him right (that character being Bucky Barnes/the Winter Soldier from Marvel).

Djordi: Do you make your own covers? If so, what do you use?

-hawkwing: Yes, I make my own covers. I used to use Pixlr to make them, but more recently I've been using Canva to make them. That site is very good with making good covers, and I recommend it to anyone who's wanting to make decent covers. There's some parts you have to pay for it though, but I just use the free features, and they're still very good.

Djordi: Who is your favourite ship of all time?

-hawkwing: Well, I'm really into Stucky (Steve Rogers X Bucky Barnes, Marvel), Destiel (Dean Winchester X Castiel, Supernatural), Johnlock (Sherlock Holmes X John Watson. Sherlock), Clintasha (Clint Barton X Natasha Romanov, Marvel), Cartinelli (Peggy Carter X Angie Martinelli, Marvel/Agent Carter), Sparbossa (Captain Jack Sparrow X Hector Barbossa, Pirates of the Caribbean), and Willabeth (Will Turner X Elizabeth Swann, Pirates of the Caribbean) amongst others. But out of that lot, I'd have to say that Stucky is the top ship for me. Aside from the Black Pearl and the Flying Dutchman of course if you want actual ships and not the pairing versions of ships.
