Katie awoke to an alarm clock playing a classical softly, but it was enough for her to wake up and read the time.
She wasn't fully awake yet, having just been woken up, but she had a little brain power going. She rolled over and realized this was not her apartment. And that was a hot man. That hot man she remembered, was Justice. She only had one drink last night, so the memories came easily without the headache.
He had charmed her at the club, she went to his beautiful place with him in a cab, even though they were both capable of driving, and he... had .... gotten into her pants. Well, it wasn't that that was bad, in fact she kinda would do it again, but she needed to know the time. She glanced at Justice again, and, her heart melted. He looked so cute, his hair ruffled up adorably, probably from her, and his face soft and relaxed in buttery, warm, lighting. But what about her job?
"Crap!," She exclaimed. The clock read 8:30 in soft red light. She was supposed to be at work an hour ago.
Justice rolled over to face her in the bed. "Hey? What's wrong? Why are you yelling this early in the morning?" he questioned.
Katie looked at justice sympathetically."I'm sorry for waking you, but I'm late! Don't you have to go to work?" She asked.
Justice looked at her. "Oh, no , I'm sorry I made you late. But I own my own business. I don't come in most days," he said.
"Well, lucky you, but I need to go," Katie said.
Justice nodded. "I understand, but before you go, let me make breakfast. Showers that way,"
Katie nodded and headed for the shower. As she was going in, she realized that he decorated, nicely, his decor was something of a rugged, manly, athlete's vibe. Mostly it was a blue and grey color scheme. It made her inner interior designer happy.
Justice went downstairs and blended a smoothie, put it in a cup, and wrote his number on the side of the cup. He decided she could keep the cup. He then started on making her a quick breakfast she could take with her: a bagel, with strawberry cream cheese on top.
He could still hear her in the shower and decided to tell her he had made her breakfast,in case she wanted to eat.
"Katie, I made breakfast!" He yelled.
Katie yelled back. "I cannot hear you, try again upstairs, ok?" She said.
Justice went up the stairs and went to his bathroom, yelling outside the door.
"I made breakfast, you hungry?"
He said."What?" Katie giggled. "Just come in," she said.
Justice went into the bathroom and stared as Katie continued to take a shower. The glass shower.
"Woah." He breathed. She was as stunning as ever.
"You act as if you've never seen me before," she teased.
Justice gulped. "I mean, I have, but your still so gorgeous,"
Katie blushed, and did something unexpected. She j u m p e d out of the shower, naked. Her curvy body was still dripping water.
"What? I'm late, and you were blocking the towel rack," she said as justice stood staring in shock. She made a shooing motion with her hands and said "now get," in a playful western accent.
Justice headed back downstairs, and soon after that, Katie emerged clean and showered. She had her afro wrapped around her head in an elegant braid, and had somehow attained highlighter, plum lipstick, and mascara, probably from her purse, Justice deducted.
