How could Taheer do that ? How could he help the man that turned D's life upside down ?she knows that he was his close friend and all but Ahmad doesn't deserve his help not now not ever at all .

The knock on the door and the pleading voice of Taheer brought her out of her train of thoughts and she opened the door giving her husband an indifferent look. This is the first time they are having a misunderstanding and she don't want it to be because of a worthless person like Ahmad.

" I am sorry I broke my promise" she apologized opening the door wide enough for Taheer to pass through .

" It's okay sweetest , just hear me out " and he narrated everything that happened to her that day " I just have to help him dear, if I shun him and showed hatred towards him he will never change and that won't be good for him .I know that he had hurt D and what he did is not right let us just let bygones be bygone " he added caressing her cheek .

" I always knew that you're the best gift for me . You're selfless and kind and also a super hero .I love you hubby " Zee croaked out suddenly feeling emotional and shameful for throwing a tantrum .

" I love you too babe " he replied kissing her neck .

" I am so sorry for acting out earlier " she apologized once more .

" I knew that it's bound to happen so I was kind of ready for it " he teased while she snuggled into him lightly hitting his chest.

And they keep conversing before Zee got up to read for her test while Taheer turned in for the night telling her not to over stress herself and come to bed whenever she feels tired of studying .

The house is bustling with activities because Afreen is a vibrant girl and she won't take no for an answer when it comes to having fun. Since in the morning they were playing all sorts of games and Khadijah had given up in changing their clothes because no matter how much she chastised and warned them not to soil them again they still do it and give her the cutest puppy eyed look in order to escape reprimand from her .

Kaybee had gone missing in action since morning and his phone is off too. She went into Ummie's room to get some rest because of the commotion in her room courtesy of the three little angels she now see as devils when her phone beeped indicating an incoming message.

I hope my angel missing me as much as I miss her .come to the living room my heart is aching, my eyes are eager to see your beautiful face .- K

Her aching head and limbs forgotten , she wore Ummi's hijab atop her A shaped gown and went out making a detour to the kitchen to bring his deliciously made fried sphagetti with coleslaw and guava drink with peppered fish.

" I am mad at you " she said the after saying the salam .

" I know and I am sorry wifey " he cooed removing his cap and fixing his eyes on her .

" Partially accepted " she dropped the food on the table and proceeded to sit on the couch.

" But why ? I went to get ready for our wedding, you should be happy that I am excited you know " he whined and she chuckled.

" How was your day ?hope you are not too tired and you've taken lunch ?" She asked all the questions she had been dying to ask since afternoon at one go .

" Alhamdulillah but I didn't take lunch hence the reason why I am starving " he looked at her guiltily and for some seconds she was lost in his hazel orbs .
