Sirens wailed in the distance, a child crying as he gripped his mother's phone in his hand- she was on the floor. A voice on the other end of the line attempted to give him some basic instruction, but it was futile. It was too late already, and with a child so young and a scene so gory...
In the kitchen doorway appeared a young blonde, maybe eighteen. She spared the boy only a glance, her apathetic meadow green gaze filled with hidden sympathy.
Silently, she walked forward, her gaze flitting around the room before settling on an entity visible to only her eyes. It was a vague, blurry outline of a woman. The same woman that lay dead on the floor. As Sang continued to approach it, the spirit began to glow a soft white, tear-streaked face painted with confusion.
Sang forced a soft, warm smile to her lips, attempting to offer the poor woman some comfort. She was no expert at showing emotion, not anymore, but she knew the woman wouldn't be able to take this next step without some help. Sang could only help people reach the Beyond if they allowed her to.
"Who are you? Why can't my son see me? Wh-"
"Shh," Sang soothed. "I've got a lot to explain. I'm Sang, but you might know me better as the Reaper."
So, what do you think? Is it okay so far? Updates might be a bit sporadic, but they'll start soon!
