Taehyung blushed as he thought of the image of Jungkook once again. One month had already passed, and he still couldn't stop thinking about him. He had no idea what it was about Jungkook that made Taehyung instantly attracted to him. He was lucky he was in a taxi and not driving in his own car, or he would've probably killed himself by focusing on Jungkook too much.

"Taehyung?" A voice asked, ruining his train of thought. "Why are you blushing like that?"

"I'm not blushing," Taehyung grumbled, a little annoyed that his friend, Jimin, had interrupted him.

"Kim Taehyung, don't tell me you're not blushing because you definitely are. You should look in a mirror or something."

"All right, I get it! I'm blushing. So what?"

"I thought you were asexual. Why are you blushing if you are asexual? Have you finally gotten interested in someone?"

I thought I was asexual, too. And the answer is yes, Jimin, I have.

While Taehyung was struggling to give an answer, the taxi stopped, meaning they have arrived at Jimin's house. Taehyung got off as well, since he didn't have any more money on him to pay the taxi driver to take him all the way to his house.

"Anyway, Taehyung, answer my question. Have you-"

"Sorry, I gotta go. I'll text you later!" Taehyung interrupted, desperately trying to avoid the question.

Before Jimin could say anything, Taehyung ran away towards the direction of his house. He sighed, trying to answer Jimin's question, which was the same question he had been asking himself. He kept looking down as he thought about it.

When Taehyung finally looked up, he realized that he took a wrong turn, because he found himself in an alley with several dumpsters. He was just about to go and take the correct route to his house when he heard a strange noise. It was a human noise, like a cough or a sneeze. Taehyung searched the whole alley, trying to find the source of the noise.

Finally, Taehyung looked behind a large dumpster, and there, he saw someone he thought he would have never seen in his entire life, excluding the images of him. Behind the large dumpster, was a frail-looking boy laying on the ground, who was occasionally coughing. Taehyung took one glance at him, and recognized him immediately. It was Jungkook.

"Help me. Please." Jungkook whispered to Taehyung, as he let out another cough.

He nodded, but Taehyung felt himself breaking inside. It hurt him so much to see Jungkook like this. He was starved, sick, and helpless, and Taehyung felt the absolute need to help him.

"Jungkook."

"How do you know my name?" Jungkook asked, startled.

"There are missing posters everywhere. Apparently people have been looking for you."

"My family's been looking for me, then," Jungkook said with a smile. "They actually care about me."

Taehyung had no idea what to say to that. Should he tell Jungkook that his family is dead? Should he really tell him that the first moment they meet? How would Jungkook react? He couldn't bear to hurt Jungkook, especially when he just agreed to help him.

I'll tell him later.

Taehyung helped Jungkook get up, and started guiding him, until they finally got to the hospital.

When Jungkook finally met with the doctor, Taehyung went with him. Taehyung listened to every word the doctor said, and for some reason he was convinced that he was actually fearing for Jungkook's life.

"Will he be okay?" It was obvious from the tone of his voice that Taehyung was worried about him.

"Yes, but he will have to stay here."

"Here?" Taehyung had wanted to spend more time with Jungkook to get to know him better.

"Yes. It won't be long. Only for about a week or so."

"A week!?" Taehyung felt he couldn't wait that long. But, he had to, for Jungkook's sake. "Okay, then. Just call me when he's not going to be staying here anymore."

With that being said, Taehyung exchanged phone numbers with the hospital, and lucky for him, with Jungkook as well. After that, Taehyung finally went home, and when he got home, it was already dark. After eating dinner, he settled down on his bed, took out his phone, and started texting Jimin about all the events that happened.

Taehyung's phone buzzed, indicating a notification. Taehyung turned to his phone expecting a reply from Jimin, but instead, surprisingly, it was a text from Jungkook.

Jungkook:

Taehyung turned off his phone and prepared himself to go to sleep, Jungkook burning into his memory more than ever.
