It was still just before noon when Jungkook, Jimin, Namjoon, and Jin were all introduced to each other. They all agreed to invite over Hoseok, now that he was back from his trip. Before long, Hoseok was standing in front of them with a big smile all over his face. They all ate together and got to know one another. Soon after eating, Jungkook noticed Namjoon and Jin whispering to each other, and apparently Hoseok noticed, too. Finally, Jin nodded at Namjoon and Namjoon stood up. Namjoon cleared his throat to get everyone's attention.

"I have an announcement to make. Jin and I are-"

"JIN AND NAMJOON ARE IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER!" Hoseok interrupted, who apparently figured out what Namjoon was going to say.

The only ones who were surprised were Namjoon and Jin. Jimin was smirking again, while Taehyung and Jungkook just stayed calm since they already knew. Hoseok just sat back down and smiled at Namjoon and Jin.

"Was it really that obvious?" Jin started, who still couldn't wipe the surprised expression off of his face.

"It's really obvious," Jimin and Hoseok said at the same time.

"To you it is," Jungkook grumbled, giving Jimin a death stare, who, in return, gave him his eye smile. "How did you even figure it out anyway?"

"I've had experience in these situations before," Jimin answered.

Jungkook thought he heard a tint of sadness in Jimin's tone just for a moment. Jimin's next words proved what he thought.

"I wonder where Yoongi is right now," Jimin said sadly with a sigh. "Do you think he knows how much I miss him?"

"I miss him, too, Jimin," Hoseok sympathized. "I'm sure he'll be back."

"I can't live without him! I don't even know how I've lived without him so far! I want my Yoongi, Hoseok!" Jimin shouted, who was now crying hysterically.

Without another word, Jimin ran out the door, tears streaming down his face. Everyone was silent for a moment. Then, Jungkook silently gave Taehyung a tap to get his attention.

"Who's Yoongi?" Jungkook asked.

Namjoon also looked eager to know; Jungkook and Namjoon were the only ones who didn't know Yoongi.

"He was our friend," Jin answered, sounding a little distant. "He went missing a few weeks ago."

"He was more than our friend. He was Jimin's boyfriend," Taehyung said, sounding just as distant as Jin did, as if he were thinking back to the times before Yoongi went missing.

"We tried looking for him but we couldn't find him, no matter where we looked," Hoseok said in a cracked voice. He was also crying now. "We had to assume that he was dead, but Jimin still believes he's alive."

Jungkook felt like too much was being thrown at him all at once. He excused himself, then went outside, standing just next to the doorway. He felt like crying, too, even though he didn't know Yoongi. He looked down at his feet, but noticed a small piece of paper on the doorstep. Picking it up, he unfolded it and read what it said.

Jungkook,

I finally found you. You can't escape now. I will kidnap you again if I have to. And I will get my revenge. Just know that this is all your fault. You must choose: meet me at the park next week at midnight or watch your beloved boyfriend go missing. Why should you make Taehyung suffer? Don't give me a reason to.

Jungkook had so many questions now.

Who is this from? Who was the person who kidnapped me? Will that person actually kidnap me again? How does this person know Taehyung's name? What should I do?

And finally, Jungkook's last question was,

What can I do to keep Taehyung safe?
