Yes, Yoongi. I remember you now.

Those were the words Yoongi couldn't believe he was hearing. He was hoping for those words, but he never thought those words would actually be said. He felt like his whole world changed.

"Y-you remember me?"

"Yes, I do. I'm so sorry, Yoongi. I should've never done that."

Jungkook remembers. He remembers me. Should I still kill him?  He still left me alone, anyway. But if he remembers me, what kind of revenge is that? He apologized to me.

"Go on," Yoongi said, testing how much Jungkook remembered.

"I'm sorry I left you alone, Yoongi. I didn't know it would affect you that much."

Yoongi's hands balled up into fists. Yoongi might as well go back to his original plan to kill Jungkook. He couldn't believe that he almost forgave Jungkook.

"You didn't know," Yoongi said. "I had such a good friend, didn't I?"

"Yoongi, I'm sorry," Jungkook replied, fighting back his tears.

Why did he ever leave Yoongi alone? Why couldn't he have just apologized all those years ago? Why did he do any of this? Yoongi was right; this was all his fault.

"Do you remember when I told you that you were my one and only friend? Or do I have to remind you?"

"No, I honestly don't remember. I know, it's all my fault, and I'll keep on apologizing to you. I'm sorry."

"I should kill you right now."

Jungkook took in a shaky breath. This was it. He should do it right now. It's for the best. It'll make everyone's lives better. Even Taehyung's.

"Yes, you should kill me. I don't deserve a life."

"No, Jungkook! What are you doing!?" Taehyung's horrified face broke Jungkook's heart.

"It's my fault. It's all my fault. Do it, Yoongi. Yoongi, kill me!"

Jungkook burst out in tears. He thought that he had cried the most he had ever cried in his life when he found out his family was dead. He was wrong. The thought of leaving Taehyung forever was even more unbearable. But he had to die. Someone like him deserved to die. What kind of person would leave their friend to deal with loneliness all alone? What kind of person wouldn't apologize to his friend? What kind of person was he?

But there was a small problem. Yoongi seemed to be hesitating. Has Yoongi ever killed before? It's obvious that he hasn't, or he would've been dead already. It was also obvious that Yoongi was completely unrelated to Jungkook's family's murders. Yoongi's target was Jungkook, and Jungkook only.

Yoongi was still hesitating. The hand that was holding the knife was trembling. Jungkook was still waiting for Yoongi to kill him. He was still waiting for his death. Until Yoongi said:

"I can't do it. I can't kill you, Jungkook."
