Hello! Welcome to Ballet Tips - although, I'm not totally sure if these are tips. I will go through even the most basic steps of ballet to the most complex, explaining each one as specific as I can.
A disclaimer, however, I am still a student myself in ballet. I am not trying to make anyone think I am a professional or pedagogue or anything of the like. Well, I am trained by teachers who have studied in Russia and I've been learning ballet for years now. I would never try to explain anything I've never done myself in class and don't fully understand.
Now, I personally study in what is known as the "Vaganova method" so I'll be writing about this as someone who is studying the Russian style. I do know the Balanchine style, so if you specifically request for something about this style, I will write about it.
I have already written a couple sections, but anything relating to ballet or a specific step/movement in ballet you'd like me to talk about, please tell me! I am happy to write about anything, that of course I have experience with.
Thank you so much for taking the time to just read through this introduction, and I hope you will enjoy the rest of this!
