Reason Why I Stopped

We made it back to the venue, leaving everything we said left unsaid around everyone else. The boys stood back stage as Mahogany called my name.

"Hey guys! So I know you came for the boys, but before they come out I wanted to say thank you for coming out and I hope you have the time of your lives. Now without further ado. Here's Cameron Dallas, Nash Grier, Shawn Mendes, Jack Gilinsky, Jack Johnson, Taylor Caniff, Aaron Carpenter, Carter Reynolds, Hayes Grier, Jacob Whitesides, and Matthew Espinosa!"

They all came running out and I handed the mic to Jack G.

They started to do whatever crazy stuff they had planned and I sat over towards the side with Mahogany DJing. I grabbed my Nikon and started taking pictures of all the boys.

**Halfway into magcon**

Jacob starts to sing Counting Stars by One Republic and I start to softly sing along, before I could think Matthew hands me a mic,

"Jacob? If you don't mind I think Aria would like to sing with you."

Jacob nods and restarts the song.

I look at Matthew wide-eyed. I take the mic and let Jacob sing the first few lines as I look out into the audience. I scan the crowd then Matthew catches my attention, he has walked to the back of the venue and lifted his thumb up. He smiles at me, and I know not to smile back or else he will get mobbed. My eyes stay connected to his as I start to sing.

We chimed in together making perfect harmony, we sang most of the song when Jacob stepped up from the mic and yelled,

We finished singing the song together and everyone went crazy.
I curtsied then walked back next to Mahogany,

"Dude! What things are you not good at?!" she asked.

"Being attractive" I said letting out a laugh.

"Lies" she said.

Soon enough the show was over and it was meet and greet time, I usually sit with one of the boys or take the pictures but right before we started Bart came over to me and said,

"Aria! The fans wanna meet you! We're setting a table for you up by Matt's! Have fun"

I walked over to Matts table,

"Missed me so much you came over to my table?" he said with a wink.

"Uh, no, in your dreams babe" I said with a wink.

"I'm actually signing." I said with a smile.

Just then the table was ready and I walked over.

I was the last table so I got to meet everyone after the boys, which means nobody will me excited to meet me, oh well!

Fans started making their way through each table,

"Hello girls!" I said to 3 teenagers around 13 or 14.

"Hi! We love you, even before today we watched your vines, YouTube videos, follow you on everything"

"Awh. That's very sweet of you! Do you guys want a picture?"

"Yes!" they all said,

I took a group photo with them and then separate ones.

The last girl looked up at me after the picture and said,

"You're the reason I stopped" she lifted up her sleeve and all I saw were flash backs to times I did the same thing.

I bent down next to her and lifted up my sleeve,

"And you guys were the reason I stopped awhile ago, never give up okay? Things do get better, I promise."

She smiled at me,

"How about this, you give me your phone number and i'll randomly face time you one day?"

She smiled and wrote down her phone number.

"Thank you Ariana" she hugged me one last time.

After that I signed a few things and then before I knew it, the meet and greet was over.

I walked over to the group and we talked about tomorrow's plans and how we have to be at the venue by 9am. Soon after that I started heading back to the hotel.

I told everyone I was heading back so both Jacks, Shawn, Hayes, and Matt came with me. Matt walked up next to me and grabbed my hand, pulling me further up than the group.

"Why didn't you tell me about your arms?" he asked concerned.

Oh gosh. He saw and heard my conversation with that little girl.

"Um, Well because I didn't think you'd care and I stopped a little after magcon started."

"A, I care so much about you. Never think anything other than that. I'm
glad you stopped."

I smiled lightly to myself,

"I love your smile." Matt whispered.

I turned my head to look at him,

"Thank you, for everything."

He smiled and grabbed my hand, intertwining our fingers.
