New York.

I was in New York.

Holy Crap...!

The minute we started driving away from the airport it was like everything had changed. It was so strange.

Sure, maybe it wasn't that different from LA but there was something about it being New York that just completely amazed me.

The traffic seemed so much worse I do admit, however.

We were in the car, he was on his phone answering what were most likely messages about business, and I was just secretly glancing at him.

Thinking about before, I bit my lip and felt my face heat up.

"What are you thinking about, love?" Dean's voice broke the silence.

"Hm? Me? Oh, nothing.." My face got even redder now that I had been caught.

"Then how come your face is so red?" I could hear the smirk that was displayed on his face.

"Sunburn.."

"Funny how that wasn't there earlier."

"I had a window seat on the plane."

"So that's your excuse?"

"Yup. It's my lie I'll tell it any way I want to!"

His deep chuckle rang through the air, and I smiled softly at the sound.

"We have a meeting tonight with the CEO of Soca Sola and his son, who will soon be taking over the company." Dean said after a moment of silence.

"Dress code?"

"Slightly dressy, but not over the top."

"Got it. I think."

"This meeting is important. We have to get this deal. Our sales have been falling latley, and if we can collaborate with them, they will shoot back up."

"Do I need to tell advertising to start creating ideas?"

"Isaiah already did."

"Ah, okay. Anything I need to know about the CEO or his son?"

"The CEO'S name is Bill Tykeson. Call him CEO Tykeson. His son is Archer. Call him Mr. Tykeson."

"Got it, Boss."

"Dean."

"Right, sorry. Still not used to it."

"Just remember to call me Mr. Miklos during the meeting."

"Yes, Sir."

"Again, Dean."

Finally, we made it to our hotel. We got a suite, or basically rented an apartment for a couple days during our stay here.

Two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, and a kitchen, livingroom, and even balcony.

So basically like renting a fancy and big apartment.

The dinner was at 6, so we had time to kill. As for me, I decided on the nap that I failed to get on the plane.

The reservation was a fancy restaurant with waiters in tuxes and all. I felt so out of place, even if I looked like everyone else. This was just not...me.

I'm not the type of girl who likes fancy resturants. I'm the girl who goes to Walmart in sweats and no makeup. But here I am. The dress I'm wearing shows off the curves I do have, even the curve of my stomach. It went just past mid-thigh, revealing more leg than I would like. The dress itself was goregous. Dark blue that fades into an aqua green. It's form-fitting, but doesn't reveal too much cleavage, not that I really have anyways.

We got there half an hour early, per Dean's request. He wanted to make a good impression on this company. I was surprised to see who was escorted to out table. I assumed the CEO would be an older man, but no. He was around my age, and very attractive. My eyes swept over him appreciatively and I gulped, remembering I was here for business, not pleasure. I raised my eyes and smiled warmly, gretting the man.

"Hi Mr. Huan, nice to meet you, I'm Alessia, Mr. Miklos's PA." I stuck my hand out to shake, which he accepted and replied with "Please, call me Ken."

We ordered and chatted as we waited for our food to come out. Then Dean had to take a phone call.

"So, what's a pretty lady like you working for Dean when she could be working for me?" Dean asked with a faint smirk playing on his lips.

"He's really not that bad of a boss. Once you get to know him, anyways."

"I can assure you the benifits at mine are better. More off time... time to do... other things.." He suggested, his hand reaching for mine.

I pulled my hand away, grabbing my drink as an excuse to play it off. "Thank you for your offer, Mr. Huan, but I must decline."

He leaned back in his chair, "I guess I'll just have to tell your boss the deal is off."

"If I don't sleep with you or if I don't accept your job offer."

"I'll take either. They would both result the same, anyways."

My face cringed at that. I didn't want to think about how many poor girls he charmed or manipulated into sleeping with him.

"So what's your answer? Because it seems like your boss is heading back here now..." Huan said in an almost sing song voice.

He no longer seemed like the charming, kind man I assumed he was at the beginning of the meeting. I knew Dean really needed this deal, but is it worth giving my dignity over? Would he be mad if I slept with someone else?

"I-I can't do it.." I whisper. Ken's eyes widen in response. "What a shame, then."
