Chapter 12- Accident

Laura POV

I woke up and my hair was messy. My hair always ends up like this since my hair is a little bit curly on the end. I remembered that the plan was to meet there at 10 am. I looked at the clock to see it was 7am. I stood up and brushed my hair and went straight to the kitchen.

I cooked bacon and eggs, Abby and Mei-mei's favorite breakfast. I placed them on the table and took a shower. I dressed up my favorite clothes. Black jacket with gray sando, blue skirt and boots. "I better wake them up." I opened the bathroom door and saw that Mei-mei was awake. "I woke up to the sound of the shower." She brushed her hair. I woke up Abby so she can take a shower. "mhhmmmmm...." She  groaned."Wakey wakey~~" I shaked her. "mmmmm....." She shooed me away. "Fine then." I smirked. I stood on the bed and started jumping. "Wake *jump* Up!!" I said between my jumps. She growled and sat up. I stopped jumping and jumped off the bed. Mei-mei laughed. 

"Seriously?!" She shouted. "What? You wouldn't wake up. Now take a shower and eat breakfast." I pointed at the bathroom door. "Whatever you say mom." 

When Mei-mei was done taking a shower and dressing up too we went to eat breakfast. We waited for the the others. A few minutes later the finally came. "I thought women usually take longer showers?" Mei-mei chuckled. Tristan just shrugged and pointed at Skyler. We eventually finished breakfast and I looked at the time, 9:30. 

"Lets go now." We stood up and Vitus put the plates at the sink. We grabbed our stuff and exited my house. "Look" Mei-mei whispered to us and pointed at the orange cat. Abby sighed again. "Let's just ignore it for now."

Mei-mei POV

Its my first time going to a park eversince I was 4. "Wow this is you local park?" I asked Laura. She nodded. I also noticed that the park was big and there were a lot of trees. I clapped once and smiled.  "Where are they?" Abby said unpatiently. "There they are." 

They entered the park just in time. "Hi Laura!" Ace waved and ran closer to her. "Hey." She replied. "Vitus!" the blonde one smiled. "Who are you?" I pointed at the blondie. "Oh that's Beah Curry, the Vice President of the Student Council." Laura waved. She waved back. 

"Let's start." 

We went our separate ways as me and Tristan went to the other side where the intresting looking tree is found. "Its huge!" Tristan looked up to see the top of the tree. "I know right? lets start at the trunk."

Abby POV

"Hey let's check out the tree over there!" Skyler wandered off leaving me. "Hey wait up!" I catched up to him and pointed at a tiny tree. "Seriously?!?!?!" I shouted at him. "What?" He defended. "Fine." I sighed and started to examine the tree. "I hate this tree.." I cutted the tiny tree. "What the heck are you doing?! Its a TREE!!!" Skyler exclaimed. "Why don't we research a normal tree?" I glared. "Alright but no breaking nature."

Beah POV

We examined a weird looking tree. We got it easily so we looked for another tree. Vitus was looking around like looking for someone..... oh wait.. riiggghhtttt.... "Looking for someone?" I teased. "No" He looked straight. "Pfft yeah right."

Ace POV

Laura dragged me to a place at the park which is far from where we entered. "This is my favorite place at the park." She lead me to a space and saw a lot of trees and butterflies. "Woah." I was astonished while looking around. "Cool right?" She winked. "Are you  kidding? This is amazing! How come I didn't see this part of the park when I was a kid." I looked at the river. "Ok come on no time to enjoy, let's start at that big tree over there.

She pointed at the tree across the river. We crossed the bridge and got to the tree. I took out my notebook and started to draw a chart. "So how strong is the tree?" I asked Laura. "One way to find out." She smirked and raised her fist. "Wait don't tell me yo-" The loud punch shook the tree. "Damn it is strong, ow" She shaked her hand.

"You okay?" I stepped closer and she stepped backwards. "Im fine." After a while we finally got a lot. She stretched and took a step backwards and tripped over a big root of the tree. I immediately went to catch her. I was there in time but she grabbed my shirt to stop her fall. She grabbed it fast so I didn't have time to balance.

She ended up on top of me... 

Vitus POV

We were finished and we got tired. I started to look for the others and actually found them except for Laura and Ace. I got pissed. We looked around for a few minutes and remembered something. "I remembered something. When we were kids Laura and I usually go to her favorite place." I looked at them. "Then go! We're to tired to run now." They panted. 

I nodded and ran farther. I finally got there where I saw something I thought I shouldn't have seen.

Laura was on top of Ace.

I got so pissed and they seem to notice me and stood up quickly. Laura's face was a little red. I figured Ace did it cause Laura seem shocked on what happened. I ran to Ace and punched him in the face. "Vitus no it was an accident!!!!" She held my hand. "I tripped and I accidentaly grabbed his shirt to stop my fall so we ended up like....that."  She explained. I calmed down and said sorry to Ace.

Luckily he forgave me and I helped him up. We started to walk back to the others in akward silence. We went back to the others seeing they are ready. "Holy candy wrappers! What happened to your face?!" Mei-mei pointed at Ace's face. "Nothing he hit his face on a tree when he tripped and its fine now so lets go home." Laura sighed. They seemed to buy it but Abby and Mei-mei seemed suspicious about it.

"Fine lets go." We exited the park and waved goodbye to the Beah and Ace. We walked back and entered the house. The girls entered their room.

Mei-mei POV

We got into our room and took a bath all at once and dressed to our pj's. "So mind telling what happened to Ace?" Abby sat down the chair near Laura. Laura was on the bed playing something on her phone she turned it off and looked at Abby. I climbed the bed and looked at her. "Yeah what happened?" I asked.

She sighed. "Fine but don't tell anyone." We nodded. She sighed again and started explaining.

"He's just jealous" Abby wiggled her eyebrows, I laughed. "Shut up. Come on let's go to sleep now" She growled then groaned. We eventually fall asleep right after.
