Tinkerbell (Pt 1)

A/N: I'm contemplating reverting to a hermit crab. No joke. Decided to write my own fairy (pixie?) reader x Avengers shot cause I only found ONE on Tumblr ages ago and it's not exactly what I was searching for. It's about a human sized fairy from an alien planet. There will be another fairy shot in the far future for this book that features a different storyline with a mashup of ideas I got from a couple different TV series. It will be focused on a Tony x reader pairing, haven't decided if I want it to be entirely platonic or not yet, it will feature a normal sized reader with the possibility of possessing the ability to transform Tinkerbell size. Pixies are supposed to be the tiny ones, but Disney calls Tinkerbell and Co. 'fairies' so whatever man. I hope I don't have to explain why there's multiple titles in bold. Lol.

Summary: Loki joins the "save strays" club. Need I say more? The reader is not human sized, YN is the size of a Pixie Hollows fairy (for example Tinkerbell). Reader CANNOT turn human-size. I suck at summaries. YN emits pixie dust naturally because she's a member of the Royal family. Ya pixie dust changes colors based on emotions and they fall out of ya wings (like the fairies in Pixie Hollow).

The real summary: What do you do when the only family you've ever known is cruelly snatched away from you? Wallow in your sadness of course, unless you're fortunate enough to find a new one.

Warnings: A tad of loneliness and tears (not very angsty) but this part ends on a well note, I can't promise so for the part 2(which will probably be posted in 10 years because I've about 30 unfinished oneshots and three WIPs and let's not forget life and my amazingly swift writing skills and my need to edit and re-edit and again and again and again). Misuse of hyphens? Or maybe correct use of it. Whatever. Language- the foul kind, my favorite kind.

Unfamiliar terms: Bicentennial- means every 200 years.

The rain descended from the heavens as if seeking revenge for some obscure crime-in heavy, thick layers of decimating squall. Little YN sat on the rusty handle of one of the numerous benches in Central Park, her tiny iridescent wings drooping as the reality of being the only fairy remaining in existence took its sweet time sinking its claws in. She didn't even spot the unusually tall God sliding onto the seat of the bench she was perched on-as her attention was solely focused on a growing puddle on the ground and the emotional wreckage in her mind.

Allowing the icy rain to drench his expensive clothes-straight down to his blue Jötunn skin, Loki studied the deep blood-red etches of his foreign origins creep along his exposed illusioned skin in beautiful ancient swirls, though he'd never associate the words 'beautiful' and 'Jötunn' in the same line. The barest hint of a sneer marred his marble polished features. The Frost Giant subtly perceived the fairy's apparent melancholic state in his peripheral vision, a pang of pity kindling his callous heart. A thin sheen of his signature green magic enshrouded his Jötunn skin in rapid cancelation. Fear and grief wrapped itself around your heart in a suffocating vice as you remained unaware of the inner turmoil brewing within the stranger sitting next to you.
