Monster (Pt 1)

Loki x Mutant reader x Bucky

Summary: Will be two or three parts cause it'll be long. Reader is now 22 and was shamed by her family for being a mutant. Loki and Bucky will have some sort of romantic interest with YN, I won't write Buck and Loki together cause I just don't know how. To give you a sense of what reader's powers are, let's just say it's similar to Raven's from Titans and Teen Titans (because I've always been obsessed with her).

Major Appearance: YN, Loki, Bucky

Minor Appearance: Clint, Tony.

Warnings: Suicide attempt (please skip this if it's triggering, I know firsthand what this is like but if you still wish to read then the suicide thoughts and attempt will start and end with this <><><><> so ya don't have to read that part if you don't want to (but it is vital to the plot, I think), kidnapping, some really dark thoughts/themes ahead. You sank deeper into the thin carpeted floor of your room as the pain engulfed you, drowning your senses. Tearing at the edges of your sanity, you surrendered to the heart rocking sobs. How could this happen yet again? The voices croaked mockingly "You're nothing and you know it, no one will ever want you, your own father wanted to throw you away why should anyone else want you? You're a freak" You grabbed handfuls of your hair and tugged hard, wishing the throbbing migraine and the taunting voices away but adamant as always they remained. A shrill ringing in your ears crashed your sailing thoughts as it dawned upon you someone was screaming. It took you a moment to realize you were the source of that screaming.

After your ability appeared, your own family labeled you a 'disgusting' mutant but the final straw was when you accidentally grazed your father and learned of his infidelity.

*Start of flashback*

"She's your monster!"

Taking a deep breath you tried to walk past your arguing parents as they both hurled atrocities at the other. Their once happy marriage uprooted, whilst you were the topic of every current quarrel. As their voices rose several octaves higher you rushed past your father accidentally grazing his arm with your pinky finger. The memories hit you like a brick wall as you discovered another reason for the distance between your parents. Gasping loudly you clutched your ears and fumbled a few steps, trying to lower your heart rate.
"You're cheating on mother?" Shaking your initial shock away you took a step back as your father's face hardened. Your mother continued shouting, even louder now when your father's reaction stunned you all. His hand connected with her cheek, the force of the slap so hard she stumbled backwards and stopped talking completely. Yanking both of your hands he practically dragged you out of your mediocre home and shoved you onto the dirty pavement. "You're not my daughter! You're a fucking monster! Disgusting creature, get out and never come back here!"

Your heart shattered as you watched your mother crying on the floor, allowing your father to cast out his 15 year old daughter. Sprawled on the hard concrete, you glanced up and memorized every line of hatred reflecting in your father's face. Subconsciously vowing to never return to this punishment of a life you picked yourself up and walked away, not once looking back.
