Hayden's POV
Last night on the phone I guess she was mad or had to go because I think she hung up. I'll ask her today to make sure she's not mad at me, I would really hate that because even though I just met her she is so amazing. "Hayden! There you are I've been looking for you." Says Kat as she kissed me, I tried to pull away but I couldn't I open my eyes to see Lola. I immediately pull away but by the time I did she was walking away. "LOLA LOLA PLEASE WAIT!" "You go back inside I don't want to interrupt." She said but something was wrong so I turned her around to see that she was crying. "Lola what's wrong?" I say as I pull her into me to hug her she pulled back at first but then just hugged me and started crying harder into my shoulder. " Everything Hayden, everything!" I hated this I don't want to see her cry it breaks my heart. " Lola kat is my ex girlfriend I didn't know she was gonna kiss me you have to believe me Lola please." She then pulled away from me wiped her eyes and let out a small laugh. " I believe you Hayden I just was kinda hurt but I shouldn't have been it's not like I'm your girlfriend." I can't believe I hurt her I know that she's not into me like I'm into her but I hate myself for hurting her. "Hayden I'm so sorry I made your shirt all wet." She said as she started to cry and wipe my shirt of with a paper towel. " Lola Lola stop it's ok I promise." I said as I giggled. "Really?" She was so sad and hurt it killed me to see her like this so I don't care if my shirt is a little wet from her tears if I'm the one who caused it. "Really." I responded to her. She came up to me and hugged me so tight it felt so warm I never wanted to let go. " I got to get home but call me later?" She says as she pulls away. " totally talk soon." I say back. Later that day she texted me asking if I can come pick her up.
Lola: Hayden can you come pick me up?
Hayden: sure but why what's wrong?
Lola: my parents are fighting and I don't want to be here anymore.
Hayden:I'm on my way.
Lola:thx!
When I arrived she was outside waiting on the steps of her porch. "Hayden thank you so much for coming I really needed to get away." She smiles as she talked to me. "No problem your my friend that's what friends do." I smiled and said back. " well you just earned the best friend title!" She said as her and I walked back to my house. When we got back home we talked for hours and then all of a sudden she said "Hayden?" "Yeah Lola?" "Thank you so much I..." She trailed off into sleepiness I then laid her head down on my stomach covered her up and said "sweet dreams Lola sweet dreams."
