Hayden's POV
I woke up and Lola isn't here, maybe she didn't want to stay or maybe things got worse with her parents. Then she walked in. " Hayden!!!" She said as she ran and hugged me. "Lo!" I said laughing. "You act like you haven't seen me in ages." I say to her, her face changes she looks sad,hurt. "What's wrong L?" I say. "My brother he is back now..." she says looking down at her feet. "That's good right?" She shakes her head looking mad. "Hayden do you not know me???!!! Of course it's bad, he's why my parents are fighting!" She yells at me "Lo I didn't-." "No of course you didn't!" She says hurt as she walks out. If I wasn't attached to these stupid machines I could have ran after her! I hate everything! First my parents hate me, my teachers, my brother, and now Lola! Maybe I should have died when that ball hit my face. I rip out the IV causing my arm to bleed I am losing so much blood. I am slipping into darkness... until there's nothing.
Lola's POV
My phone rings, " hello?" I say the people talked and a tear ran down my face. I started running out the door when " where are you going?" Alex asked me. " Hayden ripped his IV out and they told me to come say goodbye. I ran out the door and ran all the way there when I got to his room he was all bloody. "Hayden I'm sorry don't leave me I-I-I l-love y-you!" I say my voice shaking he reaches for my hand "I love you to that's why it's better if I go." He says "NO HAYDEN TAYLOR SUMMERALL IF YOU LEAVE ME I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL KILL MYSELF SO DONT MAKE ME DI THAT!" I yell at him "NO DONT DO THAT LOLA!" "I'll stay."
The next day
Every thing is so much better now hayden is out of the hospital now and we've been acting like we never said I love you because well I don't know why we just don't talk about it.
Hayden's POV
"Lola?" I say walking to her
"Yes Hayden?"
"Text me when you get home."
"Ok"

Hayden🙃:I'm ok
Lola🤪: ok
Hayden🙃:did you mean it?
Lola🤪:mean what?
Hayden🙃:do you love me?
Lola🤪:Hayden, I always have since the first day...

There's a knock on my door
I open it it's Hayden!
"Hayden what are you doing here-." I was cut off by his lips pressed into mine. I kissed back
"Just a friend?" Alex says angry
"Alex! You have to knock you know!" I say back "no I heard someone knock on your door and you say Hayden and idk about you but I don't know any girls named Hayden!" He says "you don't have to protect me! You never have before what's changed your mind?" "I'll go." Hayden says I grab his arm and pull him back and kiss him he pulls away quickly looks down at his feet sadly looks at Alex and leaves. "Oh baby sister now your in it deep didn't you see his face he knows you did that to make me mad." He says laughing. " by the way Lo your lipstick is smeared." I slap him push him out of my room slam the door and lock it. I slump down and start crying, I really ruined it this time didn't I?
