6 WEEKS LATER
I was in my bedroom, laying down on my bed, and reading my favorite book named Demian from Hermann Hesse.
"Honey? Your friend's here." Mom shouted as she was downstairs.
I could hear some footstep, then the bedroom door opened.
"Still reading that book?" Hoseok asked, coming closer, sitting down on my bed.
"You know that I love Hermann Hesse." I replied, sitting up on my bed.
He took a deep breath. "So, do you have anything to wear tonight?"
You may be wondering why he's asked this question. Tonight, I'm going to meet his parents.
Hoseok always talks about having a best friend to his parents; that best friend is me, so they were curious to meet me.
"I'll show your parents that I'm the greatest best friend you've ever had." I said, smiling.

My mom dropped me at Hoseok's house. I kissed her on the cheek and got out of her car.
I walked towards their gate, and rang the doorbell.
Hoseok opened the door, looking at me from head to toe. "Wow! You look great!"
"You don't look bad yourself." I said, smiling.
"I know." He said, winking at me. "Come on in."
As I entered the house, his parents greeted me, and led me to sit on the couch.
They were hospitable. We talked for hours without paying any attention to the time. I got to know Hoseok and his parents better.
After serving dinner, I stayed in the kitchen to help his mother. Hoseok and his father left the kitchen, heading to the living room, having a chat as their laughter could be heard.
"My son has changed," Hoseok's mom started the conversation as she was washing the dishes. "I-I think it's all because of you."
I didn't like this conversation, so I decided to change it. After all, this is the only thing that I'm good at. "Let me wash the dishes."
"No, no! You're our guest," She said, smiling. "Why don't you go and check on Hoseok?"
Suddenly, we heard a 'ding-dong'.
I could hear his father, greeting some guys, also Hoseok's laughter could be heard.
"You're such a badass, Hoseok!" One them shouted.
"Did you get the girl?" The other one shouted.
I enlarged my eyes, turning my face at his mother. "Who are they?!"
"Oh, they're his childhood friends," Hoseok's mom replied, laughing. "You need to cover your ears when they're around."
"Sometimes, you need to cover your eyes, too," Hoseok's dad said, coming to the kitchen, leaving a kiss on his wife's cheek.
I chuckled.
Hoseok ran in the kitchen, and gripped my wrist, forcing me to run with him towards his bedroom.
"How do I look?" I asked as I was following him to his bedroom.
"Is that even a question?"
I laughed.
When we reached his bedroom, he opened the door in a rush. "Surprise!" He shouted to gain their attention.
They all turned their faces at me.
Taehyung walked towards me, and placed his hand on my waist. "We've already met." He said, winking at me.
I smiled at him.
"Okay, I've talked about her to you, but it's time for her to get to know you guys," Hoseok said, looking at each one of them. "These guys are Namjoon, Seokjin, Yoongi, Jimin and Jungkook."
"I'm Y/N. Nice to meet you."
They greeted me nicely, but it seemed like one of them isn't pleased with my presence; Namjoon.
All of them were talking and laughing except for him. He was just staring at me. I tilted my head, staring back at him.
"It's been 10 minutes that you're here with us. You haven't said a word!" Jin said, noticing where I was staring at.
"Because she was busy staring at Namjoon." Jimin replied, laughing and clapping his hands.
Shit!
So, they all kind of noticed me. GREAT!
"If you'll excuse me, I'm going outside." I said, and Hoseok nodded with a smile.
I opened his bedroom door, and started walking towards outside.
"Going somewhere?" Hoseok's mom asked, nervously.
"I just need some air," I replied, smiling. "Don't worry."
She nodded, then she went off.
I opened the door, went outside, and sat on the swing which was hanging from the ceiling.
I was looking at the sky, thinking about the stars as I heard a familiar voice.
"You can't count the stars." Namjoon said, coming closer, sitting beside me on the swing, then he turned his face at me, looking through my eyes as I was still looking at the sky.
"When I was a kid, I wanted to have wings. You know, like an angel," I said, tilting my head to the left. "I always wanted to fly to the sky and catch the stars."
"Be careful of what you wish, because the devil was once an angel," He said, placing his hand on my thigh. "You don't need to catch the stars as long as you got them in your eyes."
In this cold weather, his hand was warm.
"You're cold." He mumbled, encircling his arm around me, melting my cold soul, causing me to close my eyes.
I decided to let go of all the pain and sorrow while I was in his arms.
I just wanted to remain quiet, and listen to the wind. It seemed like that I was lost in my dreams, seeking for answers. The answers that I've sought all my life.
I don't know why, but I felt someone's presence.
I opened my eyes, slowly.
I wasn't wrong! How long has he been staring at us?
