"Sir? May I go to the restroom?" Namjoon asked, leaving me in a shock, wondering what the fuck I've just done.
I thought that the reason of raising up his hand was that he wanted to confess that he'd broken the front window of principal Jang's car, but I guess he didn't do it.
But, the question is:
Whose ass have I just saved?"Y/N?" Principal Jang called out my name, causing me to gulp. "In my office. NOW!"
I let a breath out, and I followed him to his office. He led me to take a seat, then he stood in front of me, putting his hands in his pockets. "Why were you trying to defend that person?"
Excuse me? What is he talking about? I don't even know whose ass I've saved, dude!
"I know who's done that. Security cameras have recorded everything, but the question is, why would you defend him?" Principal Jang turned his laptop on, and held it in front of my face to show me what security cameras have recorded.
I remained quiet, trying to focus on the video, then I saw Yoongi, breaking the front window of his car. So, that's why he was running away from him, this morning.
"Don't try to defend anyone when you don't even know them," He said, turning his laptop off. "You can leave."
I nodded, then I ran out of his office, but to my surprise, I bumped into someone's chest; Namjoon's.
He held my arms, and looked through my eyes as he was shocked. "Have you really done that to his car?!"
"NO!" I replied, rolling my eyes. "I thought that I was saving a... friend?"
He let go of my arms, laughing out loud as his beautiful dimples could be seen.
"Hey, what's so funny about that?" I asked, punching his arm.
"Seeing you like this," He replied, continuing laughing. "You sound like a dying chicken."
"Is that so? Don't forget that you sound like a—" I was talking, but he cut me off by pushing me against the wall, leaning his head down.
"Now, say it." He whispered in my ear as his breath was hitting my neck, leaving me in a damn beautiful dream, but I had to manage my own feelings, so I pushed him away, pointing my finger at him as a threat.
"Don't you ever do this, again!"
"Why? You liked it," He said, starting to walk, making me to follow him, as well. "And I know that you were trying to save my ass when you lied to principal Jang about breaking the front window of his car."
Whatever!
"You aren't going back to the classroom, are you?" I asked, trying to change the conversation.
He shook his head. "Don't try to change the conversation, never ever again," He said, taking a deep breath. "For a moment, just keep your mouth shut and follow me, okay?"
I was following him, noticing that he's been taking me to the rooftop. "This place makes me feel better because of its nice view," He said, running his fingers through his hair. "When I'm full of rage, I come here and change the pain into happiness. The happiness which doesn't actually exist, but it's somewhere through my veins."
I was lost in the silence, gazing at him as he moved. Damn! Why does he look so—
"Hey, are you even listening?" He shouted, waving in front of my face.
What the fuck? I was lost in my damn dreams, again.
"Aren't you going to apologize or I don't know, thank me for what I've done earlier?" I asked, without answering his question.
"Changed the conversation again," He mumbled, rolling his eyes. "Why would I even apologize or thank you? I didn't put you through this mess, so definitely I'm not going to apologize. For the record, you somehow saved Yoongi's ass; not mine, so it means that I'm not going to thank you, either."
Ungreatful Namjoon! At least, I thought that I was saving him, because I didn't know that I was doing this for Yoongi.
I took a deep breath and decided to leave, but he gripped my wrist as I was looking straight forward, without turning at him.
"Fine, I'm sorry if I put you through this mess," He said with a low voice. "And thank you... for standing up for me."
That's exactly what I wanted to hear! A smile appeared on my face.
"Are you smiling?" He asked as he couldn't see my face.
"No." I replied as I started laughing, then I turned my face at him, and right after he saw my laughter, he burst into laughter, too.
We were having fun, but the bell rang, so we headed down the rooftop to the classroom. Hoseok was packing his stuff, but when he was done, he bumped into my shoulder on purpose.
What is wrong with him?
"Hoseok?" I shouted.
He stopped, but he didn't turn at me. "What do you want?"
"Just wanted to make sure if you're alrigh—"
He cut me off by leaving the classroom.
Why is he behaving like this? Maybe, he has some family issues.
"Do you think that he's behaving like this because of... you know... because of last night?" Namjoon asked.
Last night? I don't think so. Namjoon and I can't be the reason of Hoseok's bad behaviour.
Hoseok is acting like a jerk!
"I'll go after him." I said, patting Namjoon's back, heading out of the classroom, but he gripped my wrist.
"Hey, um... Can I have... Can I have your number?"
I turned around. "Sure."
He handed me a pen and his history book, then I wrote down my number in the last page of that book.
He chuckled. "Guess we're gonna make some history, huh?"
I smiled, then I left the classroom in order to find Hoseok, but he was nowhere to be found, because I searched everywhere, so I decided to call his cellphone. After a few seconds, he picked it up.
"Where the hell have you been?" I shouted on the phone.
"Home," He replied, taking a deep breath. "Skipped school, today. I wasn't feeling very well."
I hung up.
It is time to talk to him about his recent atittudes.
