Ending without Beginning

Prologue

Masyado tayong nabubulag sa pagibig na nasa harap natin na hindi natin napapansin yung taong laging nasa tabi natin.

I was about to cry when i smell his perfume. Hinigit niya ako at inakbayan. Hindi ko sya tiningnan kasi alam ko na pag tumingin pa ako sakanya tuluyang babagsak yung luha ko. At alam kong hindi sya sanay na naiyak ako.

"Bakit ba lagi kang andyan pag malapit na akong umiyak." I said while trying to compose myself into a smile.

" hindi kaya. Anong akala mo lagi akong andyan para sagipin ka. " i heard him chuckle

"Am i that dense?" I asked umalis na ako sa akbay nya at humarap sakanya at ngumiti.

"Dense? Dense in what way? Dense na ngayon mo lang nalaman na may gusto ka pala sakin. Ang swerte mo sakin no." Sabi nya while keeping his hands on his pants' pockets.

" tss. Dense in a way na i know that my boyfriend doesn't like me and just using me for the sake of our company's partnership." Sabi ko. Nakatungo lang sya hindi nya ako hinarap.

"In a way i know you don't like me either." Dagdag ko he suddenly turn his head and saw me smile at him.

"Just break up with him. Nonetheless manhid ka na. And please don't force yourself to smile nakakairita e." he rolled his eyes on me while sayin that and leave me dumbfounded.

At least even if he's like that, he makes me more comfortable than ever.

Suddenly my phone rang.

Ryan calling...

What?-me

Where the hell are you?- ryan

Why?- me

Are you going to answer me using all the WH words.-ryan

What do you want from me?-me

Alam mo ba kung nasan si ralph? - ryan

Sorry. Hindi e. hindi ako hanapan ng nawawala. -me

Liar-ryan

What?-me

Turn to your right. And iend mo na yung call sayang yung pantawag ko -ryan

Call ended.

"Bakit ka pa tumawag kung sayang naman pala pantawag mo pati magtatanong ka pa e nakikita mo naman pala na alam ko kung nasan si ralph." Pagtataray ko

"Why are you hurting yourself? Nakikita mo ba yan. Harap harapan ka ng niloloko ng boyfriend mo. You can see it with your own eyes. Kelan mo ba balak makipagbreak kay ralph" tanong nya sakin mukang napipikon na.

" i don't know. I'll still think about it." Tumalikod na ako sakanya

"Hindi ito isang fashion show that you used to do and reschedule it whenever you want to. The more you take time to think of it the more torture you'll be receiving without knowing it. " hila nya sakin

"Aren't you being unfair. Barkada nyo si ralph at pareho kayong lalaki." Pagtataas ko ng kilay ko sakanya.

"I'm not being unfair. You're my bestfriend. And you think i'll let you to be hurt as easy as this." He said tumaas na yung boses nya.

"Ryan i'll be going na. I still have my class. I'll just text you nalang kung san tayo magdidinner mamaya." Sabi ko habang nakatalikod na sakanya.

" don't you dare force a smile coz you don't have to." Paalala nya sakin at tumalikod na din at naglakad

"Parehong pareho talaga kayo ni gab. What's wrong with a smile" Bulong ko

Huminga ako ng malalim at pumasok na sa room. They were all staring at me.

"Ia Revero you're ten minutes late." Sabi nung prof namin sa math

"Mam i'm really sorry natraffic ako" palusot ko

"Traffic sa stairs?" Tanong nya

"Yeah everyone wants my autograph and my signature on their books so kelangan kong ientertain sila. Napakamean ko naman not to entertain them. " sagot ko habang papunta sa chair ko.

"You're marked as late" sabi nung prof

"Amm about that mam actually you're on the wrong track. In this university ten minutes is still early you can only mark me late after 15minutes being not present. And if i may guess you're new here coz you're the one with the new face here. Where did sir Ian transfer. I want to beg him to come back at least he knew the 15 minute rule" i sat on my chair and flip my laptop

She began to teach all of them were quiet. Busy listening to the new prof when my phone beeps.

I have something to tell you later after class. 😇

I hissed and peek at him he's smiling at me. Whatever as if naman na magsstay ako. The bell rang. I was about to go when moses sat beside me. He's wearing his three fourths poloshirt that made him look decent. Shirts always cheat.

"I know you're not going to stay so inunahan na kita" sabi nya habang itinaas nya yung paa nya sa desk ko

"What's with the halo on your text?" I asked sarcastically

"I'm a follower of God. Don't you know that? I'm moses right?" He said

"Is that what you want to tell me?" I asked

"No actually i want to tell you na gusto ko na kaklase kita. You put on a good show kanina sa bago nating prof. You never fails to amaze me." Sabi nya and pinch my cheeks

"Really. Ow cmon you already knew na hindi mo ako malalandi alam mo yan." Sabi ko habang patayo na and grab my bag.

"Naaa actually i want to tell you na your mom will be having dinner with my dad." Sabi nya sakin at pumunta sa harapan ko

"So i dont care. I have my own dinner later" sabi ko and smile at him

"Dinner with whom? naaa nevermind Well i think they're planning on something that will surprise us both i just want you to be prepared." Sabi nya and he leaned on me. "Baka kasi mamaya kelanganin natin ang suporta ng isa't isa" sabay kagat sa labi nya

"Moses" may sumigaw sa may door.
